*Drumroll* Z-Max Elder Scrolls Online! *trumpets fade*

the Winning criteria :
* 7-15 sec freezes in cyrodil - always ends up with "unknown error" messege and a boot to sign in screen, this particular one is getting on my nerves really since it always happens when zergs/bigger fights are around. when you finally get back in your in the middle of the fight and insta death. jippie! I have 10/10 mbit/s really stable internet (swedish IPS), 12gb ddr3 ram, 4 cores in cpu at 3.2ghz each, gforce gtx 670 with latest drivers, jadda jadda jadda etc etc.
Please ask for the dxdiag as ive seen in other threads, because I would just love to tell you to jump up and take a spinn on my raised finger. If anyone knows a fix to this please tell me! (tried reboot and reset modem/router, close the launcher while playing, all different graphics settings known to man... and its horrible. And i do not think something is broken with my comp, playin GW2 W vs W vs W with highest settings withot any problems and composing music regulary with really memory heavy stuff without any problems. I dont have any computer probs with anything but this game. A coincidence? dont think so.

* Sometimes (dont happen often tho) when quiting the game it even gives a fricking bluescreen and reboot.

Stuff that crawls in under your skin:

* annoying bug that happens regulary: makes siege weapons unable to interact with by any means.

* guild store works as good as old russian mechanics from old american films. Press next a bit to fast and your need to start all over. its not even possible to sort items by name, searching for crafting materiel render the entire list of items in the store!
Amazing really. How anyone can say this system is fine is beyond me and most people that can be labeled sane.

* if you wish to have 2 different setups of skills while using a particualr weapon? Well then you need to have double the amount of the weapon type! Logical yeah? Not to speak of the stupid lag attached to the feature which makes you switch bar like 2-3 times at once? think that one killed me half of the time in vet areas.

* magic based attacks are about, tripple(?!) as powerful as stamina attacks. The kind of burst that magic provides in whatever form is truly unmatched atm. players or npc wise. (and no im not one of the fools that went "I am in twillight -movie!"*puke*)

* Stupid limitations in world enviroment. Your character jumps higher then that piece of rock/fallen tree/debree/mountain side/mushroom? Nope. you just cant do it, neither can your horse, doesnt matter if its a small log laying in the way, its no way in hell that horse can get over it no mater how hard you push it. in the end all it does is getting up on 2 hoves staggering. Yet again amazing.

* Vet areas, needs no introduction. You have been fighting hordes of deadra and undeads with great results. Now try fight a big fly? watch it multiply and send your heroic ass into a fleeing coward that anyway end up dead since they cannot be cc:ed and your stamina is low so no sprint. What an suiting end to the legendary tale.

ok enough of the rant, time to go to sleep and face yet another bugged evening ingame tomorrow. Sad on a game with so nice overall atmosphere.

I have no comment about your the rest of your post, but if you are getting bluescreens at all, I would look at your computer, not the game. Software does not usually cause bluescreens (even if this is the only game this happens with); they are usually hardware or driver related. Overheating or faulty components, driver conflicts are the usual culprits.

My unknown errors have been caused by addons. My last one was ESOHEAD. So I guess if it is repeatable I would start by shutting off addons and trying to repeat it?

That thing the horse does is called 'rearing'. I agree that it was stupid of them to connect it with the horse's physical movement rather than directional button pressed.

Add to environmental problems involving the character is the fact that there are many things in which you can not jump onto. The big mushrooms for example. I've also encountered invisible walls for no good reason. I have literally, after bumping up against an invisible wall, took the time to go around the long way (I was trying to take a short cut to a road) and was able to go up to the invisible wall but on the other side. I was just 2 meters from where I first encountered it.

The only loading issue I have had is when there is a patch. It hangs up on the loading screen after selected my character. I have to exit the game and go back in 2 or 3 times.

Something that annoys me to no end is when the compass stops working in Cyrodiil! But what annoys me more than that is when the game thinks you're in combat because an A.I guard spotted you passing a fort. You then have to run half way across Cyrodiil before the game finally lets you mount up again!!

That said, still here.

You probably could have toned your post in a more constructive way, but there are definitely a few good points. The functionality (disfunctionality?) of the Guild Store is a huge issue and needs to be improved significantly and is probably the point that stood out most for me. Vet Content I can't comment on since my highest character is only lvl 34.

Also, you mention GW2 but I'll let you know that it has (and still) suffers from a lot of issues and it's version of World vs. World went through significant fixes and improvements to bring it to where it is now (after two years). So yeah, ESO has some glaring issues, but there's still plenty of time for some improvements to happen.

What's amazing is that the OP goes on this long rant, describes issues that appear to double his blood-pressure, he seems like he's about to rage... then he willing admits that he's going to go subject himself wholeheartedly to even MORE of this 'punishment'.

Dude - log out for a few weeks. If you're suffering this much - there are other games out there. Zeni is working to fix issues as quickly as they can. Maybe in a few weeks/months, the issues you describe will be addressed?

And the 'blue screens' are not likely ESO's fault. Your system probably needs a closer look.

It amazes me how harsh some of the tears are in the forums from people who sound like they are walking on a ledge, about to jump, when all they need to do is step -away- from the game for awhile.

I do enjoy the game somewhat since I would never pay 15 bucks per month for something I wholeheartly hated now would I? But on the other hand im not going to be like some of you guys just ignoring the bad and annoying stuff without questioning or react to them.

Good thing the atmosphere of the game is so nice. I would never put up with all the buggs and issues this game suffers from in any other game. What I listed here was just a few of them that was the most recent ones that was inflicted on me.
We could go in depht with other bad stuff like the phasing, unability to represent a guild, the postage system and on it goes. Its really lots of stuff that is downright bad sadly enough.

I foolishly took out two 6-month subscriptions because though the game was horribly broken on release I wanted to give ZOS time to fix it and make the game what I thought it was going to be: a modern casual-friendly MMO with optional group content for those fixated on phat lewt and a fairly easy-going leveling experience with an occasional challenging episode.

I admit to being naive and taking "play how you want" to be a reasonable description of the game overall. The beta of course never included VR so one didn't get to see the brutal reality of what ZOS had planned till after they took one's money.

This is where you are wrong, ESO does not have plenty of time to fix things when the game is already loosing members by the bushes and gaining maybe 1/3 back. The fact that they release yet another patch before fixing veteran issue to get members back is just bad.

Still loving the game, but 100% agree on this. I got stuck on a boat because I couldn't walk up the stairs which were at a *gasp* SLIGHT ANGLE!

It's pretty sad when my relatively athletic and in-shape toon can't make it up a hill in game that my lazy out of shape self could make it up in real life without breaking a sweat.

yeah im picky with what i am playing, wich is why im beginning to get rather disapointed with paying a sub for an unfinnished game like this.
It has many good things but they are slowly wearing out in comparrison with things that annoy me and I hope they can make proper adjustments where its needed before I give up totally on the game.

I was expecting nonsense complains, but I must say I do agree with all except guild store - I saw it, still I don't use it as I don't like auction itself.

But the rest are valid points even for me. Still I would not say it annoys me that much. I have more issues with PvP system right now.

i was raging because of the freeze and unknown error problem in cyrodiil for a while. but it seems it fixed when i switched my ISP. so i think it's very much related to ISP<->ESO server relations
