Fixing technical issues

I think probably the most pressing need should be technical issues since they affect the most people. Other than that I think balance is needed to keep players from getting discouraged. It's more than any one class.

Fixing Veteran content, by itself... will no joke, fix like 75% of the balance issues in one shot.

All builds are viable in lvl 1 - 50.

Veteran content difficulty and playability. All the complaints about balancing is solely about veteran content and how easy it is for one class to get dropped instantly while the other one breezes through. I shouldn't be afraid to fight 3 people in full blue V3 heavy armour with super resistance to critical hit damage.

Fixing rewards

Rewards for me. There is no carrot. There is no stick.

It relates to end game but also to vet content along the way. Vet content is far more palpable if there is incentive to the grind. You're doing looong quest chains for greens that you will never use and that's just demoralizing. Now do that for 12 Vet Levels and you're beating your head against the keyboard.

If there were unique quest rewards that had fun, quirky, or were at least upgrades to builds, it keeps you looking around the corner for the next quest chain to see where it takes you.

I know some players play for the journey and others for the destination but there should be both? Whats the point of the journey if the destination is a dead end?

This is also to me why Craglorn was mostly a let down. Some of the lore and quests were quite fun but its the same issue. Awesome journey. Terrible destinations. Trials weren't very "end game" enough for me and then they're barely upgrades at all for your char. Low challenge. Low reward.

I think Zenimax needs to fix the PvP campaigns IMMEDIATELY. Most of them on the US are either unpopulated or completely dominated by 1 faction. Zenimax needs to cut down the total number of campaigns as soon as this 90-day cycle ends (4 days from now).

Reading through posts like these... i kinda get the impression very few people are familiar with the mmo genre.

Fixing technical issues

Fixing issues that affect the greatest number of people to me would be the best way to go. That means hammering away at the plethora of tech issues in the game.

Focusing on smaller populations (i.e. Nightblades, VR content, PVP, etc) is applying band-aids to the bigger problem.

They're runing the 90 day campaigns again. They planned on reducing the campaigns to 5 and making them shorter, but that won't happen for another few months. Also, there are people exploiting emporer on Celarus. There is a group of people that rotate emporer position amongst themselves. It seems to be three guilds involved. These people are not in the same faction, they just have some agreement. Anybody who tries to actually play on Celarus is getting screwed over, even by people on their own faction. They will go and puchase oil pots, and place them away from keeps. There is a limit to how many oil pots can be set up. Keeps get flipped, and this top group of exploiters continue to rotate emporership amongst themselves. gg

Like it's been said here already, fixing vet content would almost automatically fix some balancing too. Also even though I haven't been the loudest complainer about vet content so far, but I find myself working on my lowbie nightblade now almost solely while my sorc and templar are both in vet zones. And tbh I'm getting a bit afraid that people might not come back to the game after summer if they have vet zones to go to.. yeah I'm beginning to get a bit afraid right about now.

Vet content for me, it's been a hit and miss story for me.
Balancing and such I know will come over time and will always be evolving, but the vet content just pains me some days.

You are correct about poll results of course, polls can and will be slanted. The purpose of this poll was to show how we as customers and in a loose sense community of ESO view what we think are the most important areas that need attention. The poll was meant to show that each of us have a view of what is important and needs attention.

Maybe, just maybe the next time we enter a thread we will think and speak to the concern and not the tone. I'm guilty of not always understanding the intent.

There are some smart folks on this forum, (my own observation) and I truly believe if we can all get past any name calling we can have some great conversations about improvements.

This game has so much potential, we don't know all the plans ZOS has for content yet. Some great points were made in this poll. Technical issues and Vet content being fixed, then balancing which would included all classes. If ZOS would speak to the first two I think it would go a long way to making people feel better about the direction of this game.

Personally, I am not level 50 yet. I dilly dally around to much and play a couple times a week. I can't speak to all the problems people have, but I'm interested and hope this community can find some common ground together. (ESO) I hope we all can contribute to having the kind of community that is helpful and welcoming.

Fixing technical issues

I'm going with technical issues as some of the other concerns MIGHT be fixed if the technical items were fixed.

I'm not just talking about quest bugs or zoning bugs but combat, skills even damage given/taken. I'm going back through old areas where I neglected to collect shards and even at level 49 I hit mobs and they should be one shotted at my level but they stand with no life and wont die but wont attack me or others.

going into rooms or caves and loading on another part of the cave or door. Healing yourself but not actually gaining health or healing others. Heath bar stuck at partial health and having to reload UI....this stuff was fine at launch and BETA but at this point I assumed these items would no longer exist.

Don't get me wrong a lot has been fixed but...wow maybe this should have stayed in open BETA until last month.

Tech issue's first. Nothing else matter's if the bugs are not fixed first. Nerfing is not game development it is screwing people out of skills and items they spent effort and time to acquire Multiple nerfs is nothing but a mental circle jerk and severs nothing other than to start fights among the player base. The arguments never end and people always end up closing accounts and leaving.
