i like the storylines. I like all the variety of the abilities. The graphics are cool to me. The music is beautiful. especially the mix/remix between TES IV music and TESV music. reminds me of good times from oblivion. I also think the breton females are hot:) and "hot" is a word i RARELY use. oh, and (spoiler) kicking the a** of a daedric prince, is something iv wanted to do for a long time in this franchise, and really makes me feel like a bada**.

I actualy look forward to these not for what they send, but to read the exploits of what they have been upto. Just got one today, explaining that the guy had accidently upset a mamoth and had to bribe it with mellon balls, while his brothers laughed at him

The list for what is good about this game is too long to post.
Its easier to write down what is not good. That is a good thing.
Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

We don't have products like this aimed at our players yet.

Boasts level cap in 4 days. Just checking the features on it makes me ill.

    OMG

This is directly from that link
    ----
    Don't Think, Just Level.
Following our in-game WoW Power Leveling Guide Addon is by far the fastest way to level from 1-90. Our development team has calculated exp gain per hour for virtually every questing route for every zone in the game.

We have found and gotten rid of all the time wasters. What you are left with is an easy to follow, step-by-step guide to leveling many times faster than you normally would. Our addons allow you to just have fun playing the game without having to figure out what to do and where to go.
    ----

YEAH GUYS, DONT THINK JUST LEVEL. :D Thanks to ESO I can never play what the rest of the world considers a normal mmo anymore. I'm not even sure how I played mmo's way back when everyone did just click through npc talk as fast as possible and all you did was crunch numbers and grind for gear or grind for a level cap. I used to just accept that mmo's were not really "rpg's" and I had to play single player games for that. Thanks a lot ESO, making an mmo that is actually a proper RPG with enjoyable story and stuff. :D

p.s. I pretty much love everything about ESO. I can play solo and not get bored if my friends are not on with me. I can group with em and do stuff (though albiet much easier now that we are all vet 1 and above). Etc. Sidequests dont even rteally feel like seperate side quests.

It's pretty and it's fun until you get to veteran level. Oh and the crafting is some of the best I've seen in a modern MMO.

    Things I like about ESO:
    • TES setting (what drew me to this MMO in the first place)
    • Graphics (have seen lots of bad commentary, but I like the graphics)
    • Addons (makes the game more enjoyable)
    • Ability to cooperatively explore much of the game's world
    • Crafting (didn't like it at first, but it grew on me)
    • Day/night cycles (something I wanted in SWTOR)
    • Weather cycles (something else I wanted in SWTOR)

I do love the day/night and weather also. It really helps add to the immersion. Although I wish nighttime was a bit darker. I've actually adjusted by gamma settings down lower then what the tooltip adjuster tells you to because caves and dark areas were STILL to bright IMO.

It would be awesome if they added moon cycles in and if it directly affected the level of darkness in a zone during night. Some nights are super dark and some are super lit up with stars and moons and gods oh my.

I like the sound ambiance.. for example I was in a Group Dungeon and it was a spacious walled interior while I waited I was playing my Lute and noticed the reverb in the room was really cool..

Being a musican for some years it was a treat to hear that again.. I always liked adding reverb to my music when jamming live to simulate a bigger room.

Tons of amazingly cool things but one stands out for me: Actual voices for all the NPCs. It takes immersion to a whole new level. It's harder to make life and death decisions when the emotion in the characters voices are influencing you.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

I have issues with the game, but that's not what this is about.
I can also find a fair bit of good stuff in the game as well.

But right off the bat it was the graphic's and atmosphere that first impressed me.

    - The writing in ESO is much better than in most MMOGs I've played :) The quests are interesting and varied.

    - The atmosphere of the world is great. The landscapes in most zones are really beautiful and you can see how much attention was paid to so many details (you especially notice when you just stand still and fish for a while). I also really like the "soundscapes" in some zones (Grahtwood for example :D).

    - Exploring the world while questing, exploring Cyrodiil or the 4 players delves in Craglorn for the first time was a great experience :)

    - I really like that there are so many different crafting styles and armor appearances.

    - Crafting is really easy to start and it's fun to craft. Especially when you can help other people craft rare things they need.

    [*Spoilers*]

    - Some quests were amazing (the Wilderqueen quests in Greenshade, the Skeleton quest and the Deku tree quest in Grahtwood, the "outer dimension" quest in Greenshade, all the quests with Shazah and Khali!, the quest to free Abnur Tharn in Coldharbour)

The art is really great, the developers have done an enormous job in making the three faction's areas stand out as unique, and give the different races their own styles and culture. And at the same time you immideately recognise styles from the other Elder Scrolls games.
Lore might be so-so when compared with the total ES universe, but if ESO is isolated from the rest of the series, the lore is mostly really good.
The four-man dungeons. They've managed to make each dungeon feel unique, and the four-man raids generally are a great experience.
Intro music. I sometimes find myself bringing up the launcher just to listen to the intro music.

I like that the game has an over arching struggle in it. I've found it to be great for role playing. Which is something I do almost to a fault. Wether is the factions or the zone bosses or the ongoing battle with molag bal

I like that the quests are never black n white and anytime you make a choice in a quest it's usually a hard one to make which makes the outcomes more provocative.

The Lore in Elder Scrolls is so above and beyond anything out there. Warcraft is decent but the detail and care that goes in the whole franchise is remarkable. When I was a little kid playing daggerfall I thought for sure the game was based on some books somewhere. I even went to the library and asked if they had the elder scrolls novels when I was 10 years old. . . they didnt.

The characters look so real and life like

The community on the European server is mature and less aggro troll monster then WoW. The North American Server is ok but still much better than the teenaged sexually frustrated grief monsters that I found in WoW.

I love the combat, after playing this game going back to WoW last month felt SOOOO boring. To me it's like the difference between coaching a softball team or playing on a softball team. You feel like you're fighting something. Not pressing buttons till it dies

Ok I for one think this is the most beautifully created MMO I have ever played. From the music and effects, visually stunning graphics,to incredible story lines in all 3 factions. The combat system for a MMO is the best I have experienced. Both in Pve and Pvp. There are a a lot of haters out there it seems that complain about bugs/imbalances. Which were valid in the first few months of game but far less now.

Elder Scrolls Online has a lot of Solo Content in the early-midgame.

I look forward to Solo Content in the endgame that gives loot equal to my Character Level. I say make elite Solo Zones that gives better loot than Group Zones because it would be a bigger achievement to accomplish.

In early access, I thought the informal grouping with strangers, as you happened upon each other, was annoying, especially competing for quest items, but now with patches fixing that, I like the informality of coming together and meeting the challenge at hand, sometimes without saying a word to one another, and then moving on. Sometimes, you can just wait a few minutes at a boss, or other challenge, and it's not long when someone will come along to help you it. But if you want a formal group, you can do that with the grouping tool, or joining a guild, or advertising for help in zone chat. It's that kind of freedom, that strengthens "play your way", and that makes ESO attractive as an MMO.

Play your way? I lol'd you for that. I dont run with a stick and skirt so I cant play my way.

Yes you can. Your post sounds like you are just trolling.

You can play any class, any build and be effective and strong. But you don't want that, you want "yourself" to be the most OP thing ever and if it isn't you just cry for nerf of everything else.
