Ok so i've been trying to find people to do some dolmens and world bosses for a couple of days now. I keep writting in zone chat ''Anyone here'' no answer.
I'm in Grathwood vet7 zone andit's just deserted. These things gives lots of xp, how am i supposed to progress and enter vet8 this way??? Very bad design imo Zeni.

mndfreeze✭✭✭did you know that you can technically go to all the zones for the alliance your currently working in, and you dont HAVE to do them in order to progress? Unlike 1-50 there is no difference if you are vr7 or vr8 when you hit up the next zone....
(You could try joining a guild, just an idea)

✭1-50 seems quite thriving atm, last zone of each faction is a good place to buy, sell, LFG etc, whatever level you are.
V1-5 has a steep drop in population, V5 probably is 1/10 of last zone of each faction. In peak time, you can still find groups for WB and Dolmens.
V6-10 is bad, there is no population support for group in these areas. Which is unfortunate, the WB and Dolmens aren't that much harder, but gives a lot more exp, 50-100% more.1 -
mndfreeze✭✭✭If you think about it, it makes logical sense that the zones are a lot more empty since people are going to progress in order generally (even though you dont HAVE to for some parts of it, and you can skip a lot of content/side quests if you want) So as you get closer to the upper end a ton of people are not going to be there yet.
I'm a semi casual player. I'm still vr2. I just hit vet like 2 weeks ago. Note that its taken me 2 weeks to get halfway through my second vet zone.... So extrapolate that into about how long you think it will be until *I* get to your zone, then use that same figuring on everyone in general.
Just move on and do other things while always keeping an eye out for people/group opportunities soi you can get the dolmens or other things you need a group for.2 -
Karikin✭✭✭Unfortunately thanks to the mega grind that was craglorn, the vet zones will likely be dead until the next wave of players start going through them. Most of the people that "should" be there right now got to skip it thanks to craglorn anomaly/burial grinds.2 -
mndfreeze✭✭✭Yup, that too. This is exactly why I am in NO RUSH to level. I just play and roll with the flow and try to enjoy story and questing, or spending some time crafting, or whatever. Hell, sometimes I just ride around zones trying to get into places the dev's dont think I should be able to get to. Oh an empty spot on my map with moutnains all around. Hrrrrmmm SEKRETZ OR INVISIWALL?! LETS SEE!

one question please, i have done all quest in daggerfal region, and not just all quest but all achievements as well but i dont have any covenant hero title. How so??

I'm with you, brother. I've got 3 alts at 34. I'm playing 1, maybe two hours every day or so. That's the way I roll. Life is short. Enjoy your gaming! It's summertime, get out there and do other things, too.3 -

Yankee✭✭✭✭I think by VR7, because of the endless quest grind through overtuned mobs, too many people are either re-rolling, skipped to Craglorn, or have stopped playing.
And that is why the upper zones are empty.1 -

✭Not being able to find people for dols/wb in VR can be frustrating. Sometimes I just have to move on to something else. Other times I'll snap and just go off and start doing them anyways. At least it gets the blood pumping again. I keep posting in chat after each death and if/when players show up and see me in combat they join in.Edited by Evergnar on June 22, 2014 6:25PM0 -
It is... alarming... to say the least.
I mean we're talking about one faction on the *entire* megaserver. A third of the population, literally. We should be seeing tons and tons of people spread across all VR zones, especially at this point months after release. But nope, there's probably less people in a high level VR zone than there is at one GW2 boss event (on one out of 20+ servers).
Low level zones seem to be thriving but its useless if the population just die off as it gets to higher levels. New people getting to the VR zones are gonna rage while the same people creating an alt to go back to the "glory days" of leveling (understandably) just further add to the issue for those coming after.

Same. 5 toons, highest 27, lowest 20. But I am only playing ESO off and on now, so it will be even slower lol. Would be faster but questing is not my fav thing to do in an MMO.0
