Please Add Some Variety to Horses

Once armor dyes come out, I'll be a Templar in the appropriate silver/white armor with gold details, riding a black horse. That just doesn't go.
Suggestion for variety:
Horse armors! Armor dyes would of course also be applicable here. Either purely cosmetic and relatevely cheap and/or craftable, or with additional bonuses like "500 damage mitigation while mounted". The latter would also make stamina horses useful and might lead to mounted combat.

mndfreeze✭✭✭New creatures as mounts even, not just more horsies that are amazing. Of course, horse armor would be awesome too. It almost seems like they plan on it since upgrading your horse only gives you little accessory pieces that would/could go on/around armor easily.
