If group leader dc's, how do you get new group lead to invite new player?

I posted the original question because I thought I was just doing it wrong. If this is a design error; it is a shame to see what bugs exist in the game (I main a NB), but to have game designs flaws like this... man... just please fix0 -

Really? Dang I wonder what went wrong with my experience. Wish I had more info to give to zeni to resolve possible issue.
