Minor issue, might be nice to be able to switch them off, but it's not an issue for me.

Notifications for something that everyone in a guild may not be interested in should be optional.
That said, it was funny the first time when I saw i]guild name[/i flash on the screen with that message completing that one in over 2 hours and then going to the leaderboard and seeing that the leaders had times under 10 minutes.
It's really annoying to get a Notification that someone in one of your trade guilds with 500 people completed a Trial when you are queued for Cyrodiil and expecting that notification…
“Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.”
I don't even want to see my own Leaderboard Notifications, turn them off or give us a toggle.
Yesterday I was in a dungeon and heard the notification sound. Since I was waiting for a certain person to invite me to group, I rushed through the dungeon, finished up the quest, then looked at the notification. Some person I don't' even know in a trading guild I am in did something in a trial. Not something I need to get notified about.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"
Yes. Oh, gods, yes! Give us the option of turning those off! Not only are they incredibly annoying, but it's giving me an inferiority complex to be constantly bombarded with messages about how much better than me my guildmates are doing!
It's really one of the most basic (top 20) principles of user interface design and usability. Give your users a notification choice whenever a message is frequently shown to the user. It's prudent to give the user a way to disable the message from being shown in the future.
Disabled or give option to disable as others have already said.
Not done trials and not got really much interest in them tbh, but although I have respect for people who have done them in varying times, I really do not want almost constant notifications about it.

Yup. Not only do I not care, they continually have me stopping what im doing to see if a hireling delivered, or someone pm'ed me...or was someone sending me an invite...
either way...I would think a guild and world scoreboard would do just as good
Yes, for the love of all that's holy, Yes... I am at the point of dropping my guilds because of this stupid feature. Who ever pissed off ZoS please apologize now so they will give us the ability to turn this off...
