Or do guild masters have to actively delete accounts they assume have cancelled just based on the last login date/time?

No clue but anyone with > 1 week since last login probably has gone the way of the Dodo.

That's because most guilds are built on launch day players who were only here for the one free month. It's time now to prune the dead weight from your rosters, those who haven't been on in a month, and start recruiting new members. A few guilds could probably even stand to merge. One month inactive seems to be the general rule for a guild kick.
Of course, these days, most guilds will have lost 60% or so of their original membership this way.

OP, they won't delete automatically. You'll need to manually kick people.
Perhaps, though the true amount might be 1/5 of what it looks like across all the guilds. Guilds that were taking anyone the first week probably have it the worse though.amber_picchiottino_ESO wrote: »driosketch wrote: »That's because most guilds are built on launch day players who were only here for the one free month. That's a lot of dead weight.

I wonder how many Sidekicks have left the game. The guild website is a ghost town these days (as is the Psijic website).
When i get online, usually around 8pm PST, there's maybe 15 of them online on a good night. Kinda sad ...

I feel bad about the websites. I was on early and posting, but stopped checking it regularly. Its one of those vicious cycles, people don't hang out there because there's a lack of activity, and there's a lack of activity because people don't hang out.
...
Are we still recruiting? Maybe we can get some fresh blood.
