REQUEST: /roll or dice

Hello! I want to make a (hopefully small and easy!) request. Many MMOs have a /roll or /dice feature that allows you to roll a modifiable random number generator that your party or your raid can see the outcome of.

It would be nice to see this offered in ESO; it's very useful in a number of situations, from personal mini-games (gambling for gold with your tavern buddies!), role-playing outcomes, loot distribution, deciding who has to enter the Daedra's lair first, and more.

I have no problem with this as long as running gambling houses via chat is bannable.

I remember eq2 having a issue with this..... spam all the time, I agree, banable

While there is an addon that lets you see the roll results of other people with the addon, I'd still like to see a /roll be added into the game because it would make things much easier. Especially since now we have consoles and console players cannot use addons, this feature would enable to do the things I listed in the original post.

Please consider doing this, ZOS! It'd be great for quality of life, and extremely useful for many people.

They can. It just requires that everyone in your party has the addon.

My Roll Call addon does it, and even has an option to send it to normal chat, though of course that could be faked pretty easily.

Soooo addons exist, I know, but often times they're outdated. It'd still be pretty swell if we could get a /roll. There's so many good emotes out there, I don't even care if there's a dice animation to go with it, having an RNG is just useful! Pls ZOS. It's 5 years later but I still believe. I still have hope!

This would use the same rng that resulted in an unprecedented explosion in the mix hound population. I'd rather use /myphone and people would just have to /trustme. In all seriousness though, good luck with your request.

I would like to have a housing game table where we can roll dices ... I mean for friendly game.

it is rather disappointing that this game has so many addons for features that should just be in the game in the first place.
