Horse skills should be resetable

I dont know which section of the forums to put this in because horses dont fall under any category so im putting it here. Anyways today I was feeding my horses when I accidently fed the wrong food to one of my horses. This absolutely screwed me because I can no longer have the fastest horse possible since I put 1 feed into oats instead of apples. If in fact your horse can only reach level 50, as lots of people say, this means in order for me to fix this problem I have to sell my horse and start all over again feeding my horse!
So maybe they could add another option to change your horses diet/reset so in case we mess up we can fix it without paying 42k all over again for a perfect horse. It could cost 250 per feeding that you put into your horse to reset them. We all mess up every now and then, so hopefully something like this can be put into the game.
Tell me what you guys think about this, I know its not a huge priority, but I feel its something that would make the game better in the long run.

What I noticed last week was that when your horse hits level 49, it gains one point in each stat, plus the point you chose. Then level 50 just gave me one stat point.0
