Two small suggests that could make a big difference

1. Allow MOTDs for guilds (messages that will appear from each of your guilds upon login)
But to keep people from feeling like they are being spammed by this, there should be specific buttons on the chat options to turn off the MOTD per guild but still see chat from those guilds.

This would add a much needed ability for guilds to let their members know of important information and/or upcoming events

2. Add a webpage for elderscrollsonline.com that shows the in game map of each campaign of cyrodiil

This will let people know of any action going on in any of the campaigns when they are not currently in cyrodiil (or in game for that matter) and help encourage people to join in when they see said action.

Not sure what exactly your asking for with the MOTD from your guild.

The webpage with an ingame map could be problematic. If you're asking for the information to reflect current holdings, then it would require a direct feed from the servers, which won't happen. If they take a daily reading, then it might be misleading depending on when the reading is taken (and someone will figure it out). If you're just asking for the maps and general information, then several website can provide them.

MOTD: message of the day: upon logging in members will receive a 140 character post in the chat feed from whatever the guild leader set at the MOTD

allows for a way to get information to members without actually being logged in at the same time your members are.

and why would they not get a direct feed from their servers? DAoC did it along with plenty of other MMOs

Ok, message of the day, seems reasonable, I did try to google it, and got page after page of Match Of The Day, which being British I kind of expected.

Yes, guild leaders should be able to pre-record a daily message for their guild.

A direct feed from the servers is theoretically a weakness for hackers to exploit. Add to that the time it would take, and people only going for a campaign their side is likely to win, players already saying certain campaigns are worthless for certain factions (ie theirs always looses). And I'm sure the reasons why they won't do it become clear.

As a systems/network/security admin I can tell you right now there are ways to feed just the map without creating security holes

they already have this problem without maps, there are plenty of campaigns that are OWNED by a single alliance and people still flock to wabba in droves because thats where the action is. Most others just use the other campaigns because it gives them a perma bonus
