Do You Coordinate Strategy For Battles?

Just thought I'd get some feedback on this to see what the general consensus is and see what strategies people are using.

I guess 'coordinate' may not be the right word, but do you assume a specific role in (formal & informal) battle groups? Also, now that the game has been in play for a while, what do you find works as the best strategy (notwithstanding alternate strategies for differing opponents)?

For example, I'm DK and automatically take on the role as front-man or damage shield and do my best to protect our magic users. If I see Storm Atronochs, Ogrims or Harvesters surrounding our magic users, I'll try to intercept and keep after them until they chase me, putting our sorcs in the background where they can support with big damage and healing. If I don't, I lose my sorc backup and consequently don't last long (i.e. Just this morning at a dolmen I was being chased by three ogrims and two storm atronachs, possibly some other smaller enemies too, like clannfears & banekin - couldn't see past the big guys - I survived with lots of running and dodging but it was brutal!)

Let me know, I'm interested to hear.

Thanks.

Depends, if you're doing a group dungeon or boss battle I will do what ever the leaders says is the strategy. But if your talking open dungeons or dolmans then I generally just do what looks right, just like evryone else, people just seem to work together without talking about it, and it seems to work.
