Bears to buy?

In one of the cities, stormhaven I think, they stable handler says he has a full stock of horses and can even get the occasional bear from Skyrim.
Now apart from the obvious why import bears when there are bears locally, does this mean bears might be one of the new mounts Zos have promised. (I know the speech isn't new btw). Just thought I'ld ask and see if anyone knows.

Yeah, I suspect we all want something a little different from horses, not that our horses are bad.

mndfreeze✭✭✭regarding bears the question to ask would be: In TES Lore do any of the races commonly use bears or some form of bear species as a tamed mount? Like Bosmer since they are all woodsy/furries and stuff.
If there is supporting lore for it, chances are much higher on it being a real thing eventually.

I'm not entirely sure, I don't think so, but I could be wrong.
In fact if it wasn't for that stable in stormhaven saying they can occasionally get bears from skyrim, I wouldn't have asked.
