Brainstorming about provisioning future!

Come on guys, let's talk about how to improve provisioning. At the moment many of us playing at VR levels gets many useless ingredients for cooking because they are used only in low lvl recepies. Personally, I think that replacing them with high lvl components is kind of solution but ruining all the fun of cooking. For example, someone who is considered to be master chef is limited only to cooking 4-5 meals. The rest of recepies are so useless that I'd be afraid to feed that to my horse. What is the reason to have so wide choice of components if we cant use them. Let's make this post brainstorming together and find a solution to this problem, that's what this forum should be used for! :)

Maybe if you could create your own recipes like alchemy or spell crafting in previous TES games, different ingredients have traits or effects and you can combine 2,3 or 4 to make the food you want.

I am pretty happy with what it is right now, not sure what the problem is.

Considering one can only have one food buff at a time, 4-5 recipe is good enough.

If you want to make food do other things, with all these ingredients, you are stepping on the toe of alchemy.

If you could grow your own mats that would help. Lotro has a farming proffiiciency
At least the spelling is difficult for you.

    1) all foods should scale with the user to provide level-specific boost. Each food should have a secondary effect that makes it special (puking after eating worms for non-dark elves? :D)
Maybe providing a hidden "buff" - 5-10% increased effectiveness in foods your character "likes" (a hidden stat generated upon creating a character), so you have something to experiment with, trying to find out which food gives you best boost.

    2) increase caps for regens to AT LEAST double of what they are. Even though they increased regen in some patch in last few weeks, still +2 regen cap won't save anyone! It's downright PATHETIC that we (if we don't overcharge) regenerate about 39 magicka/stamina every second, while abilities need 240-360 every second (if chained).
Absurdly low caps are the reason why drinks are not used beyond lvl ~20.. hell, they are the reason every mage has to have warlock set and/or Spell Symmetry on his bar, and one of the reasons why every non-mage suck.

    3) Add some flavor to drinks. For example make character block a few more % damage after drinking HP regen drink, reduce the cost of roll dodge and CC break after drinking stamina regen drink, and so on..

Once we get housing I would like to see farming added. Similar to LOTRO where we could plant, grow, and harvest ingredients that we then cook at a crafting kitchen. These ingredients should provide extra benefits such as allowing both food and drink to be active at the same time since it has taken much more of our time to concoct.

Also I want to see my toon's name on my product. Yancius is just as proud of his culinary creations as Yancina, my clothier, is of her wares.
