Armor looks nothing like concept art..

Is there any hope to get armor that looks nearly as deep and detailed as the cover art/trailers? The armor now is just flat with mediocre textures..

✭I like the level of detail in the armors in game, as well as the design. On the other hand, I really like the armors in the trailers, too.
I some wish for - and it probably won't happen - some kind of "mod" functionality that would allow modders to make new stuff for the game. Even if it was just a contest where some could make armor or a weapon and have the devs include it in game.

✭For an mmo the level of detail is fantastic imo. The colors don't always make a lot sense to me but that will be a non issue when dyes are released.

✭It should not be terribly difficult for players to replace textures. We did this in SWG all the time.
Whether it is an acceptable mod or not, that's up to ZOS. But texture replacement mods should be both feasible and acceptable, in my honest opinion.
This does, of course, open the door for severe performance issues. AND a texture replacement allows for such things as nude mods, ultra-HD textures, and even alien/anime morphs, etc.Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.

XBOX NARuze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.1
