Expanding Alchemy Applications ?

Currently alchemy is in its early state of development. There has been some talk of further enhancing the craft ...to be able to apply potions to weapons for example.Has there been any discussion of a general time frame when some further enhancement might be expected ?
PS. an idea for the upcoming weapon/armor dye system is to allow alchemists to be able to produce special colors beyond the basic colors available to all.

✭I am guessing that poisons will be a big part of the Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild expansion. So whenever those come out.0 -
Turial✭✭✭I agree with Aett above, it makes most sense to include that kind of addition to the game with that patch. I don't think they have said they are bringing poisons any time soon though if at all. I like the idea of Alchemists being the ones who craft dyes, would give more use to the craft then making a few stacks of V12 potions once every few weeks."Neither a 'Borrower nor a Lender' be."
