"In Combat" while in a town with not mobs or npcs nearby for 5 minutes so far..

this is not the least bit annoying or anything... please, continue to keep me from mounting, changing gear and skills, or teleporting for the next hour....
If you cant tell thats sarcasm.... well go to bed, you have school in a few hours.
This has been a common occurence after fighting a dark anchor for the past few weeks, and its extremely bad today.
oh and btw, in the time it took to type this, it still didnt clear up...
thought i might add this..
i just used a wayshrine to instantly teleport to the other side of the map, and im STILL "in combat"

✭Yeah I noticed last night I kept getting an in combat pop up of my skill bar when I was in a bank. Happened a few times but it only lasted for a few seconds for me.
I just assumed it was someone nearby being in combat outside of the building, maybe it wasn't. I didn't do any dark anchors in the session so no link to that for me.PUG Life - the true test of your skill

its 50/50 to happen any time i do a dark anchor on my Night Blade atm.I play every class in every situation. I love them all.0 -
I've had that happen to me a few times - turned out I somehow picked up a random mob while traveling - but server/client positioning de-sync'd. So according to the server I was dead but I was somehow running around as if nothing happened except I was locked in combat. Re-logging usually fixed it - I would appear right where the mob is and my armor would be degraded.

I posted about this on the CS form, including various steps i took to solve it, none of which worked but logging out while in a town.
Sometimes even logging is blocked, so there is no easy fix for this at the moment.
