Have they increased the experience from 1 to 50? I've gained levels much quicker now with my second character (sorc). Just to illustrate how much quicker it has become. My sorcerer is now level 49 (missing about 50% exp to L50) and I have about 80% left of coldharbour to do.

Just you. I have two characters so far that have been through the 1-50 content and reached VR1. Both of them reached VR1 about 50% of the way through Cold Harbour.

The difference is how much of the content you complete before moving on to each map zone. As a completionist, I tend to do everything I can find before moving on.

So no.. not too unusual to be Veteran level before finishing the storyline.

I outleveled things faster on my alt too, but I figured it was because I spent more time in the tutorial area farming for gear and didn't get out until level 5.

My first character did the final main quest fight at 47, my alt was VR 1 after doing the same things.

I also do every quest, dolmen, and world boss in an area before moving on.

My daughter is level 43, already has the faction hero status for doing all the quests , the mage line, the fighters line, and the main story line and finished Cold Harbour. She's now having to dive into dungeons and do dolmens so she can get more levels to get and finish the MB fight quest lol. She was wondering about getting more xp too! She has two NB's, and the first one didn't finish every quest and was getting the MB fight at 47.

My sorc is 50 now. I went to where the zombies are and 50% of my exp was farmed in a very short timeframe... maybe 15 minutes, fastest ding i've experienced so far
