Poor wildstar is getting hammered by bots

It sounds real familiar. Zos has been doing a great job of late in getting the bots under control. I've played the first two zones again on my new main and resources are everywhere and no stupid names or level 2 Templar trains. Good job zos

Wildstar had teleporting underground mining path following harvesters on day 1. And ye olde spawn quest die hundreds of streaming questers on zones they shouldn't be. Sounds real familiar. It's kinda worse over there as you can buy in game credd (like a token that can be used to pay for subs) (like eves plex) with real money and exchange it for ingame money. So the botters have much more direct access to gold conversion to real money.

They're still infesting Bal Foyen and also XP trains in Coldharbour are back.

If I had to speculate, my guess would be that with each patch, ZOS changes the encryption / verification between the client and the servers, and the bots need a day or two to adjust before they reappear. Of course, I could be wildly off the mark.

You mean a new mmorpg has bots? who would've thunk it. That is so weird. According to some posts around here, it's completely unheard of. wow, guild wars, rift and aion and other mmorpgs neeeeeeeeeever had bots at all during the launch and throughout.
Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

Remember all the stuff people were spouting a few weeks ago. That no other games were this bad. That they couldn't believe how bad it is and that zos didn't implement all this prior to launch. How zos has already lost the way and I'm unsubscrtibing because zos doesn't care blah blah. I see some of the same people over there going damnit I left teso because of this problem and now I have to deal with it again. Shoulda just waited for zos to fix it as teso is a better game in most respects except hardcore raiding.

They did do a good job eliminating most of them...

That is if they did not move on once they gathered enough gold/materials and only use a few to keep up stocks...

Also, since most MMO`s lose 50% of their population after the first few months maybe the demand for gold/items also went down... this can also be due to the fact that once people got all they needed aka horse/slots/tempers they did not need to buy more....

At this point only ZOS and the bot owners know what really went down...

On the other hand, by the time the G.M. Saturn came to market, they had figured out how to avoid using the wooden bearings that Henry Ford's team had started with.....

    I'm not sayin',....
