Just cancelled my account.... Hopefully they fix things
So I just decided to cancel my account. I can't take the amount of gold spammers and bot trains. I mean, the gold spammers can be blocked and stuff, which is "alright", but the bot trains are a serious issue. Hopefully they can resolve this soon. I hope Zenimax is aware of how serious the issue is and that people are fed up and are cancelling their accounts due to this stuff.
I'm sure absolutely no one cares, but I'm hoping that some mod from Zenimax sees this and it gets passed up the chain.

I'm playing Wildstar, Archeage (yes, I understand it's alpha), and Guild Wars 2. None of those have this issue. I mean Wildstar has bugs, but they're actively working on all those and seeing results. I see no results from ESO.0 -

I haven't played for 2 weeks. Logged in this morning and the first thing I saw was a bot train exactly where I logged off last cause of the bot trains in the area. That's why I give up. Let the man win.... Until they fix this issue. I love the game, but it's just ruined cause of this.0 -

It's funny cause I'm in marketing/advertising as a profession. But that's not the issue so much as the bot trains. I can block the gold spammers and do things to avoid it. Just can't do anything, but report bot trains and hope they get banned.0 -

Ahem. Look, dude (assuming you're a dude). I get ya. I really do. Gold spammers suck, and there are a lot of things that suck about ESO regardless of gold spammers. And as someone who's been part of the early beta I feel that I should've adressed many of these issues back then, so that the game would suck less for everyone now. This, of course, is just wishful thinking on my part. But - anyway, I get ya, really. And I understand your desire to contact a dev to communicate to them just what made you cancel your sub, so that they will improve the game based on your input. That, sadly, is something that's not likely going to happen. You're only going to look like a whiny little dude who loves the drama of telling an entire forum of unimportant people that they quit a game. Still, I get ya.1 -

IKR, at least when they were around, I could breeze through content, but now, I have to fight almost every mob, some places I have to stock up on soul gems just to ghost run to my goal after death1 -

This game's issues extend far beyond bots.
I had more fun when we could farm bosses in public dungeons. ( nerfed by putting dimishing returns on bosses because bots where farming them)
Had alittle fun farming motifs so I could get most I didnt have by trading them ( this got nerfed into the ground but they reinstated it alittle later on )
They made VR mobs way harder in craglorn but accidentilly buffed all the other mobs in the VR 1-10 zones which made people quit the game as soon as they made it to tedious.
Their game is not hard its just tedious. You wear a staff and light armor and you just roll the entire game.

i just watched a wild star video with tons of bots . but to each his own there ar e several reasons to quit this game . i only see bots in earlier levels here but to each his own as i said. How is Archeage. ive no interest in wildstar looks like a siezure to me.

I haven't seen any bots, yet, in Wildstar and no one else in my guild has so I can only go off what I and people I've known have seen. We've all quit ESO, but Archeage is awesome. If you're into crafting and stuff, you'll love it. That's a huge focus for it.1 -
