Feature Request: Forum Thread Author Tag

Just a little thing, but I wouldn't mind being able to see who actually started a thread in these forums. You know. Without having to actually open the thread.

Also, perhaps it's a bit biased of me, but given the sheer amount of vitriol posted lately, it might also be nice if said author tag also warned if they were "Soul Shriven".

Being new to the forums does not prevent one from posting good content.

I would not disagree with that.
Unfortunately a "soul shriven" marker would not be as helpfull as you think:
First, even new people that mostly read on the forums have good content. And you started as a Soul Shriven sometime too (or atleast at 1 star).

Second I noticed that people who get banned for off topic content or trolling often "gather" points first. I noticed this behavior on the MS Forums (where there is a point system) as well as here.
You will rarely find a soul shrive post obviously rule violatign stuff. It is always people who gathered 2-3 Stars first.

Agreed on both counts, post this in the feedback sticky and hopefully they'll take it under advisement(I wouldn't count on it though)
Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

We're currently working on revamping the forum layout (we know it's been said in the past, but it takes time!) and including the original thread creator is something we plan to have.
