I'm casual and find single-player-only battles in ESO damaging to the genre and a game-stopper.

Bring the mountain to Mohamed. I'm going to attack like this....and you have to give me a mob that dies as a result.

the whole premise of the poll is that there are rules to mmos (groundbreaking or not) which is false. we get it.. you dont like forced solo on story quests.. neither do I. tired of all these loaded polls on subjects already discussed, requested for future updates, polled and debated to infinity on these forums.

All that is left is letting go of the monetary value I prorated and lost and the free month of gaming I got to placate me that won't ever get used now.

What free month? You paid for the game and that was part of it. There was no free month. Why do so many people insist on saying this?

The first month was free. I paid $59.99 for the game.

Maybe some whined so much to ZOS that they took some pity on them for releasing such a <blank> product and want to sincerely do all they can to not lose the gamers that are sitting on the edge ready to jump?

As far as I'm concerned, regardless of warranty, if someone has taken the time to write up, discuss, and point out numerous bugs and design flaws (whether real or not and supported by everyone or just a few) it is honorable to ask for and get a refund or something out of the game for all your grief.

That said I am going to delete all my posts including the top one and un-bookmark this now.

Why shouldn't something be brought up that in effect chases off a great many casual players who enjoy cooperative play? It's insane that the main story in an MMO should be forced-solo.

My guess is that I'm one of the few hold-outs hoping ZOS unscrews this, before we reach the point where abstaining from forced-solo instances reaches an impasse ... at which point we'll unsubscribe, and there will be even fewer voices (and subscriptions).

Borrowing this quote, because it's pretty accurate:
ESO does a good job as a single player RPG... but the point of ESO was to create a multiplayer TES experience.... but instead they just made another single player game that you can see other single player characters questing at the same time.
