Captain Kaleen quests in Betnikh

I am a newb. I was doing the Captain Kaleen quest line and when I arrived in Betnikh I wanted to go back to Daggerfall for a bit. I thought I could take the boat back to Betnikh to resume the quests, but unfortunately I'm not getting the option to return. If I'm in Daggerfall and talk to Gilzir (the boat guy) I only get the option to go to Stros M'Kai. When I'm in Stros M'Kai, I only get the option to go to Daggerfall. Captain Kaleen is no longer on the boat in Stros M'Kai. How do I get back to Betnikh?

Can you use a wayshrine?

I cannot use a wayshrine. None appear on my map in/near Betnikh.

You could travel to a player who was already on Betnikh. I could probably help out if needed.

Have you still got the 1st Bethikh quest in your log? If you have try dropping it, which should let you reacquire the quest (and boat trip) in Stros.

Sometimes if you keep talking to Gilzir, the Boatswain, and asking 'What else do you suggest?' he willl continue to give you different options, usually cycling through travel to Daggerfall and Betnikh. That being said; Only once you finishing helping Kaleen in Stros M'Kai will you have the option to head to Betnikh. I cannot remember if you're only able to travel to Daggerfall from Betnikh once you've similarly helped out there with the main quest-line.

Otherwise, do as Rosveen suggests, and use a Wayshrine, it's often the simplest.

I have completed the Stros M'Kai quests. Still can't get him to suggest Betnikh. Dropped the quest and still can't get there by way of trying to resume. Will look to a friend to teleport to since Wayshrine isn't an option. Thanks for the suggestions!

OK hope you can get a port but if you can't raise a ticket. If you've done the quest that takes you to Betnickh it should have given you the first wayshrine automatically and a GM can check that.

don't you have to talk to cap Kaleen , wait, follow her for a bit, wait, follow again then do the dialog about meeting the crew before Betnikh?

you may be skipping some waits.....

Go to a wayshrine in whatever zone you're in. Then in the map window, click on the pin icon in the upper right. You'll get an extensive list of maps. Look for Betnikh and click on that. If you've done anything in Betnikh, there should be at least one wayshrine available. If you don't see Betnikh, click on Tamriel to get the entire world map. Find the Daggerfall Covenant section of the map, zoom in and mouse hover over the different areas. When you find Betnikh, click on it and you'll see the whole map of Betnikh with at least one wayshrine available for you to use.

Well, here we are almost in August and I had the same exact problem.

I made the same mistake. I know ESO was trying to push you into all the Captain Kaleen quests, but I thought I was traveling between lands rather quickly and wanted to explore more in Daggerfall before continuing. Sure enough, there was no longer an option to travel to Betnikh and I could not continue. A bug no doubt.

Zenimax studios owes me 53 gold, lol.

Travel if you are going from one wayshrine to another.
