According to your previous posts you haven't actually played vet content. You have stated that you are going to play the main story then unsub. How then have to managed to develop such an informed opinion regarding vet content difficulty?

✭weaving is like the only thing in this game that is any sort of skill cap. Get rid of it and most builds will be LOL MASH ONE DERP0 -

✭Given the combat lag and packet loss problems this game has, I can see why fixing this would be difficult. Waiting until the end of attacks to calculate and distribute damage would be unwise with people already complaining about unresponsive combat. Trying to send packets out to cancel damage that was already calculated would also be a huge problem.
ZOS made a bold but dangerous design choice when they decided to do real time FPS-style combat in a game that should tolerate long ping times. I think it may be coming back to bite them, especially as long as they fail to put the EU server on the right continent.

You can't declare that everyone that has found something that works for them must be cheating because you won't or cant do the same.
Some people won't be happy until we are all using their crappy, ineffective build, with their crappy ineffective abilities and getting owned by trash mobs just like they are.

Cheating and Exploit are two completely different words. Have similar meanings but they do not mean the same thing.
Are the things you listed cheats? Absolutely not.
Are they exploits? By the very definition of the word, they absolutely are.
There is nothing wrong with a non-cheating exploit. It is there, so use it.
I do not understand two things about this.
First, we already know that the game developers have acknowledged that this exists and that it is not a cheat. So the people that are complaining about it, stop complaining about it like it is a cheat and stop calling people cheaters. If you do not like it, wait for Zenimax to figure out how to correct it, and if they don't, learn how to do it yourself.
Second, for all those who keep on saying that it is not an exploit. It most certainly is, stop trying to say it is not just because you don't want to be labeled as an exploiter. There is nothing wrong with it. Every one of you that are fighting the exploit word like it is the plague are just making yourselves look foolish. Just accept that it is an exploit, but also know that it is an acceptable one until the developers change it.1 -
robertlive2014✭✭✭It's funny that some players want to equate weaving light attacks into a damage rotation with blocking in order to cheat the casting time of crystal shard. Cast Time is the price of using a powerful skill and cancelling the casting should (I think) either cancel the attack or at the very least reduce the damage. If you've studied heavy attacks on the staff, you will know that blocking in the middle of the heavy attack "charge up", causes the damage of the attack to be reduced. Reducing the damage for canceling the "charge up" indicates that canceling these attacks is an intended behavior. I would argue that Cast Time is substantially different than the after-cast animation on light attacks. Light attacks on the staff are instant cast and casting another skill immediately after is not cheating any specific cast time, but merely skipping an animation that is not part of the cost of the attack. Note that you still cannot perform another light attack for 1.5 seconds because of a global cool down on light attacks. So, light attacks have a global cool down, but no cast time.0 -

stop derailing the thread. you either understand that because something takes skill doesnt by necessety mean it can't be an exploit or you don't
they arn't mutually exclusive. some of the biggest exploits ive ever seen in games took a large amount of skill. some not so much . so posting a dictionary definition of skill as if thats somehow conclusive is complete idiocy.

well if sorcs are blocking to cut the time of shards and thus be able to cast 3 in the time it should take to cast 2 thats an exploit and a cheat that needs fixing imo. particularly in view of the fact they might proc an instant cast as well if morphed.
cast times are there with the sole intent of limiting the dps and spammability (for want of a better word) of a powerfull spell. If an exploit in mechanics means you can by-pass the intended time 3 spells should take it is a cheat . regardless the skill level one might need to use said cheat.
