Good evening players,
Most of you know the image of the current Daedric Armor and let's face it, it's just plain horrible. I was expecting more of a Skyrim Style or even like what we saw from the cinematic trailers. I for one would love to see a change in the Daedric style like seen in this image.
Comment below your feelings on the Daedric Style, hopefully we see some sort of improvement in future patches.

Wow ok yeah that looks way better than the in game armor! I agree with Curra above that it should look a lot better when the dyeing system comes in and people can make Daedric a nice red, black and evil combo like in Skyrim.Edited by jamie.goddenrwb17_ESO on June 17, 2014 6:23AMI can has typing!1 -

✭✭The armor looks perfectly fine. It's just the colors that are bad. The dark blue and purple on some of the ingots/temper quality, look perfect for Coldharbour. It's just that some of the colors(like the one posted above) are too bright/vibrant.
Dyes will remedy this issue. And yes, I mush prefer ESO Daedric armor. Skyrim is waaay over-the-top. ESO is truer to Morrowind & Oblivion's Daedric style.Edited by Lord_Hev on June 17, 2014 6:32AM5 -

✭Daedric Armor in ESO pales in comparison to that of Skyrim. Granted we can't compare them directly as ESO is literally not capable of the graphics of Skyrim. The model however is another story and I believe the OP is right in that the model created by ZoS devs is underwhelming.3 -

By the way, you can see this armor type already by the sorcerers bound armor ability. Its funny that people think that deadric armor has to look different than what a sorcerer can already summon from oblivion.2 -

Something at least skyrim or the previous games' daedric would be a lot better. Plus there is way too much leather showing for a metal armor.

Anvos✭✭✭Just compared to ancient elf and it honestly seems like night and day, making daedric look like some half finished beta model that somebody forgot to send down the line.
Not to mention that is far to silvery of a gray to be deadric. Primary deadric colors are black and red, with other assorted dark tones mixed in as needed.Edited by Anvos on June 17, 2014 8:41AM2 -

✭Most of the armor styles are crap, especially daedric medium. It's not just the colour schemes that make it bad but the actually design they came up with. isengrimb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭I don't much like helmets on my beasties most of the time anyway, and turn them off. Otherwise, yeah, it doesn't look THAT bad (and screw spikes, plz, WoW is going that way next expansion because they think spikes = "savage"); at least the shoulders aren't 10 feet wide.
It's .. the lines. Those white glarey lines that make me pause, though. They really need toning down; but as others have said, dyes might fix that. Perhaps they will have more than one shade of dark red to play with. A medium (not too bright) red might look a little better than the lady's armour in the other picture.

They should just call the 'Imperial' Daedric armor "Real Daedric", because thats all it really is. I like all the new armor models, and I hope they actually look like the pictures when they get put in the game.
Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood armor looks amazing, even the heavy stuff.2 -
Drawberrry✭✭✭I quite like the Daedric style. It's the only one of the rare motifs I REALLY like. The red/black variation looks lovely in my opinion.
With the dye stations coming soon and the addition of new motifs I am confident we'll all be able to find a style that we like

It's a motif? thought it was crafted only from using the crafting station in market district. maybe I'm wrong?4
