hirelings...and how to actually receive mails

is there some official information, or as close to, about how you actually get the hireling mails?
i noticed, if i'm logged in, no problem, i'll get the 2 for the day
but if i'm not logged in, or log in once a day, i'll only get the 1 mail, if any
have an alt i log into once a day, randomly, haven't gotten any hireling mails with 1 skill point in the passives
what gives here? this seems like a dumb design

Bazzakrak✭✭✭@rotatorkuf If you have high enough skill in them that you can get 2 mails pr day, you will have to log in twice each day to get them, 12 hours between each login.
Skill lvl 1+2 will give you 1 mail with items every 24 hours, and the timer restarts when you take the items out of the mail.
Skill lvl 3 will give you 1 mail with items every 12 hours and the same requirements as above applies.
And if you happend to be online at the moment you should get the mail, I would recommend you to log out and then log in again, since the mailsystem seem to somehow not be very good at sending you mails when you are on.We're born, we live, we die. And along the way, you do the best with whatever crap you step in

reggielee✭✭✭✭its on a timer, so time from the last log in to receive the mail. you have to wait till you hear the ping to get them before you log out. sometimes mail lag takes a few moments. if you dont log in till later, then your timer will be pushed back to that time and so on.
if i miss a log in , then I just wait till my regular log in to reset the timer to what is more convenient to me to play and just play my main and not go thru the alt shuffle. I miss hierling rewards but I refuse to be tied to some timer, I always set mine to come in the morning when I usually play the game.Mama always said the fastest way to a man's heart is through his chest.0 -

✭This is a typical MMO mechanic that penalises those that aren't unemployed or students and can't play 24/7.

in am 99% certain it comes 24hours after your recieve the mail. which requires log in. so if i get mine at 8am before work a few days there they are the next day at 8 am. tomorrow i work at 7 and cant open it until 5pm. i open it at 5 and the nex day the mail comes at 5pm. this has been consistant for me for months.0
