Just see how the community feels about it and then take it down when the weekend is over, please don't let these DAOC fanboys stop ESO from evolving to a beautiful game.

Terrible idea. Do you think that because it's just the weekend that all of the legitimate concerns would suddenly vanish?

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

They mention games like WoW and Swtor that have no RvR as an excuse for no structured PvP, while GW2 and WAR did it fine.

    Also
Warhammer wrath of heroes did 3 sided structured PvP fine, And this game would be only MMO on market 3 sided structured PvP since GW2 does 2 sided

Not true but even if it was true it would be one more reason to stick with it, there is more than enough competition when it comes to arena games, and ESO isnt a game that can stand competition atm; it would get destroyed by any well crafted arena game.

When it comes to RvR there are two competitors on the market:
    - Daoc, no matter how awesome, it is a super old game;
    - Planetside 2 is too different to really matter.

If this game can survive is by avoiding competition.

    How about NO?
Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

It will be only game with open class system and structured PvP, is that better?

Not to mention while other games makes dodge and block a stat, ESO makes it player controlled

If they add arena, and you don't like it, then don't participate in the arena. Problem solved.

The fact is, that there are a great many players like myself who do not like the massive zergfest type PvP, such as what Cyrodiil is. We do not participate in Cyrodiil, but we would participate in arena. Thus, arena wouldn't be pulling people away from Cyrodiil in any significant numbers.

    Good for them.

So much loser-talk. The game won't implode if you add more options. Sure, there are fixes needed in other areas, but that doesn't mean the whole ZoS team must focus on them exclusively.

New play modes = more fun

If you don't like it, you can safely ignore it.

Also, you don't avoid competition, you stomp on it. Make pancakes; eat well.

ARENA sure as long as I can spectate the matches, cheer for the combatants, place bets, and the contestants gain no rewards besides bragging rights. Make it an RP element to the core!!!

I unsubbed recently because, as a PvPer, I couldn't bring myself to enjoy Cyrodil. You join and end up joining a zerg or running around on your horse looking for things to kill for 50-70% of your time in the zone. Now, I'm not complaining. I know others like it, and that's good. I don't, so I stopped playing.

However, that does not mean that I don't want to keep playing the game (which is why I'm still on the forums, hoping that they'll add something that'll bring me back in). I would love to continue enjoying ESO. However, there's no content for me. I don't like group PvE and I don't like the PvP style that is currently in the game. I can say with certainty that small-scale (such as Arenas and dueling) OR moderate-scale (like WoW's Battlegrounds) PvP would make me resub, and I'd be all over it. I'd be interested even if it were like what Xnemesis described. I PvP for the fun and the thrill, not just the rewards, so this would fit me perfectly.

This type of PvP is "not in their [Zenimax's] vision", I recall reading at some point, and I can respect that. But until they add it, I won't be around to experience their vision.

Implying Zenimax has a chance to stomp the competition.
Pretty much every other MMO out there is more polished/balanced/bug free than ESO; in fact pretty much every beta out there is...

ESO has two things that no other game can offer: the strong ES franchise and the rvr system, and i dont how long the franchise can keep it alive.
