Ebony Ore Vs Calcinium

So my main became Level 50/V1 and I wanna make him a set of Ancient Elven [My Blacksmith is not able to make it yet but I'm curious now]. According to websites I've seen "Ebony Ore" makes armor up to "Level 50" and Calcinium makes armor V1-V3. So with someone at V1 is their any difference between a suit made of "Level 50" Ebony and a "V1" Calcinium? Thanks :)

If your looking for stat wise you can learn that ingame VIA clicking the "must have knowledge" button.

As for LOOKs I imagine the new tier look "better" but at least it SHOULD look DIFFERENT.

The V1 version of the armor i crafter was a darker shade.

Like the above post mentions, you can check stat difference between various levels of armor by going into the crafting screen and unchecking the 'have materials' and 'have skills' checkboxes, then just scroll to the material you want and look at the preview window.

Go with Calcinium, it's easier to accumulate with nodes and deconstructing.

I have made a set of armor out of both materials. The lvl 50/V1 stats are exactly the same at the same level, ie: blue vs blue. The difference for me was that I can put a higher glyph on the Calcinium armor than on the Ebony armor. That having been said, the difference wasn't significant, only a few points.

The Ebony Armor was darker than the Calcinium Armor in my case making Bosmer. I actually liked the darker look of the Ebony better, but oh well.
