Horse breeding

Greetings everyone!

As some of you know, it was said earlier in development through a few interviews that players would be able to breed their horses in order for them to get better children, sorta mixing the stats to the best optional.

I now have my dear Maximus (Imperial White Horse) and my beloved Famine (Gaited Black Horse) at level 50, however.. I don't see any new options in the stable menu.

So I'm just wondering here, did Horse breeding even make it into the game? I've asked around, and nobody seems to know of this feature being in place, so is it even here? Or was it scrapped earlier in development?

If anyone knows anything about this, please be so kind to share your beloved information with the rest of this whole wide world!

I think they implement that afther Orc and Elf breeding.

Horse breeding in Tamriel is not that easy. You need to set the mood, you know, a little music, a romantic oat meal dinner from a shared bag, give them some time to get to know each other.

Then when they've been dating for a couple of weeks, you make it nice in the stable, some candles, a bit more music (some Rod Stewart - Tonight's the night (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KKd0kE_21M)) and a nice romantic setting. Lead your horses in and, well, if you've done it right, a little pony is in the making.

If you've done it wrong however, oh dear. Lets just say that if horse breeding in Tamriel is difficult, a troubled relation ship is even worse. I've heard the skeevers and wolves carry weapons, so that daddy horse will hear how his little girl was mistreated and you're to blame. I hear Coldharbour is particularly nice this time of year, should that come to be.

So basically a minigame like the chocobo breeding from final fantasy 7? that would be pretty damn awesome. Especially if you could unlock rare breeds with special skins/stats this way.

I'm sorry, I am not interested in Barbie Dream Horse Online. Naming the horse? I guess I haven't tried or have been interested in that. I'll have to see what kind of immersion breaking name I can come up with, I want to be like those clowns with the all consonant name. :P

Okay guys chill now! I wouldn't like to see any horse smexy time either, but I simply wanted to hear if anyone of you knew of it, since I remember the devs mentioning it in an interview for about a year ago.

Besides smexy time for horses, I still think it could be a nice think to be able to let two of ones horses breed (offscreen thank you), so they could get a child with a little, superior stats than their parents. Like it would have a higher base stat than the usual horses, and then capable of being further upgraded as a normal standard horse.

It could be cool as well if you could sell these kind of horses, so you could quite effectively just go all in on horse breeding to make money off that, instead of the other crafting elements xD
