Nerf Shield Bash!

Shield Bash is way overpowered. It seriously needs a Nerf. All the things you can improve it with, and get out of it, no ability was designed to be this good, it is just as bad as vamp bat spam.

Please fix the situation.

I don't care to dig them up, if I did that, I would be called a zombie poster resurrecting dead threads. My only other option is to not say anything which is what most people want but I won't oblige.

Since the current threads about the subject are old enough that I don't want to risk being a thread necro (which has been called on 3 day old threads) I made a new one.

However, because I did read those threads I felt no need to regurgitate their content. Everyone who feels the same way understands the issue and the more attention the issue gets the more likely it will be fixed.

The nerf was already confirmed I think. Unfortunately the nerf is crap for PVE and hope they do give a strong buff to S&B otherwise we will have yet another mostly worthless weapon line for PVE.

I have noted I seem to take out mobs more effectively with my shield than the sword....

With the 1.1.2 patch, 3% of people will be able to enjoy the new content. And 97% will see how Zenimax is able to balance the game. It took some time, now let's see the result!

Its already nerfed in patch 1.1x.

Also its not shield bash as such you want nerfed, its the +bash jewlery*skill.

However shield bash is nothing compared to DKs. DKs is the new overlords.

They better buff all weapons skills , they all seriously suck. Most of the time the only difference is in aesthetics and the passives.

And its only OP in PvP when mixing with +bash jewlery. And remember a person trying to bash you doesnt walk very fast, and he runs out of stamina fast as well.

You have to look for those junior pigs. They're those kids that wanted to be crossing guards or hall monitors, no friends, ate lunch alone. I don't blame you for not wanting be a necro poster.

Incidentally is shield bash just a sword and board skill or is it the skill(?) when I use both mouse buttons?

Its not a nerf...its a fix. The shield bash does way to much damage (I use it alot...but stoped when I found out it does much more damage then it should).

Wait 2 days, and the shield bash is most likely where it should be.

Also....they are still balancing things. Except more "overpowered" things to get fixed and "underpowered" or not working skills like the night blade Assassin passive tree will get fixed....not buffed...FIXED.

If having viable damage at the expense of stamina is your concern, buy a NERF gun.

They cause little to no damage, but you have to be really careful not hitting one's eyes.

After SB then what? Nerf nerf nerf. Everyone demands a nerf. And why? Same thing in every MMO since vanilla wow. Because it's OP in pvp. Meanwhile PVE takes another hit. Do not kid yourselves. Something else will be the flavor of the month nerf demand as soon as bash is destroyed. Then the same people that demanded a bash nerf will find themselves on the receiving end.

A hard cap on the Glyph (Crushing?) would more than fix the root problem. Another good added fix would be a cooldown .5 second or something for Shield Bash in general.

But this fix is a good step in the right direction.
