Heritance Proving Ground - Bugged?

I've researched online and haven't found an answer to this yet, nor have I found one asking in-game.

The 'Heritance Proving Ground' elite area in Auridon doesn't seem to be completable. I did it twice in a group, and solo'd the named enemy there (Anarume), and still didn't get credit.

Looking online, I see no complaints of this being broken, and found confirmation that killing Anarume is supposed to give credit.

So, what am I missing?

I did it on the NA server on Monday (or maybe sunday night..) and got the achievement. I know it doesn't help but maybe it was a glitch? When was this?

Tried this 3 times over the past several days. Twice in two separate groups, and once solo where I did 100% of damage myself.

My group member didn't get it either.

Weird, once home I will check (IIRC the achievements have the date and time you got it) but I ma pretty sure it was monday or sunday.

Sorry, at the end yesterday I was knackered and didn't log in. Try today after maintenance/patch, maybe it got 'stuck' and not having normal maintenance this week, it didn't reset. If you are on the NA server and you want a hand, I can come round (though it's always packed with people waiting for him to spawn)

I did this Wednesday and got credit. It may be one of those bosses where you have to be the one delivering the killing blow perhaps, though I have not seen that in a World Boss before.
I think however that the person with me got credit for it too.

Somehow, I had forgotten to do this at the beginning and went back last night as a VR12. It completed fine and I got the achievement.

I'm having the same issue as you with the Giant/Mammoth boss in The Rift, though. I've beaten it a dozen times and never gotten the achievement, but others are getting it.

Just soloed it at VR2 and got no credit for it.

I think this is going to be addressed in 1.5. Maybe.

This fix was talked about in the 1.5 Patch Notes

Heritance Proving Grounds: You will now always receive the achievement after killing overland boss Anarume.

But it is not mentioned in the 1.51 notes at all, so not sure if 1.5 got rolled into 1.51 or not.
