Prismatic Weapon Question

Hi, I'm doing the Will of the Council quest and I would like to ask some question to people that already did it.
It's possible to get a Resto Staff from the quest?
What level is the weapon you get from the quest? It's of a fixed level or it's the level of the toon when you finish the quest?

I did the quest at level 41 and got a level 43 staff and it was, sadly for me, a destruction staff. I don't think there is a restoration staff option...

There isn't. The Prismatic Core was designed to be a -weapon-. Something to destroy the Mortuum Vivicus.

Restoration staff doesn't follow the intent of the Ayleids.

Yes, it's not a restoration staff, but on the plus side the destruction staff is simply wonderful.

Too bad, had to go with greatsword. I do have another good destruction staff, if I wanted to level that up, so I decided to go with my secondary weapon.
