Caltrops destroying seige warfare completely in cyrodiil.

over the last 24 hours cyrodiil has gone from noone abusing caltrops to EVERYONE ABUSING CALTROPS.
Just like the Batswarming things have changed overnight to everyone exploiting bugs to seige keeps and pvp.
If you don't know friendly caltrops stop 100% of enemy seige damage if you stand in them.
yesterday I could use oil and seige for defense, today it is 100% useless, everyone is using this bug so I am posting this so EVERYONE KNOWS, The more this is abused the quicker I hope zenimax fixes this.

ThyIronFist✭✭✭✭✭Yup. Standing in friendly caltrops makes you 100% immune to any form of siege damage. I'm seeing almost everyone abuse it.
This crap needs to get fixed asap, if this were to happen in any other MMO it would be fixed by the next day, but since this is Zenimax it'll probably take a few weeks - just as it did with the batswarming.The Elder Zergs Online

I can see more and more people are getting caltrops. And I am only around ~3 days from it myself. And they are used much more frequent now.0 -

And when they fix it, you dont come back here crying that maxed Siege Shield protect from 90% of damage (while working as intended), right?

ShintaiDK✭✭✭90% vs 100% is a huge difference tho. Plus caltrops are cheaper to cast and last 30 seconds while the shield last 20 seconds. Not to mention you need the morph on the shield, no range cast and its highly visible.0

The 90% siege damage reduction doesn't seem to work anyway. You still take a ton of damage from siege.
