hunting animals and provisioning

Ok so I have this recipe that calls for frog legs. Why can't I go kill a bunch of frogs and get them? All it gives me are guts. Frogs should give you frog legs, mudcrabs should give you mudcrab meat, and so on. It breaks immersion when I can't get food items from hunting animals.

Please, enough with the "immersion" thing, it's old and doesn't lend more credence to your complaint, which I actually do agree with in that Mudcrab meat is a high-end ingredient I think and so only comes from high level crabs.

I also have a recipe calling for bear meat yet all the scores of bears I've killed I've never had a single chunk.

i've gotten venison from a deer and bear haunches from a bear. too bad im vr1 and those are newb recipies.
