Can I Choose The Look Of My Armor?

Is there a way to take the look of lower level armor and put it onto a higher level piece? I really like the look of the lower level Argonian medium leg armor better than the higher level veteran Argonian (and I actually don't really like any of the other racial options I currently have either).

Any help would be appreciated.

No you can't. Whether or not some sort of costume/cosmetic thing is in the work is anyone's guess but right now your armor looks the way it looks and that's it.

You can enhance lower level ones to green-blue-purple etc. which will affect the stats somewhat but it quickly becomes both a zero sum game and a waste of mats.

No word on any kind of transmog feature yet, but we will be getting a dye system at some point and tbf, a lot of the time an item looks terrible because of it's colour. I do hope we get to choose the armor we want though at some point in the future, but not a priority for now.
