Request for UI elements to be added to game without needing to use addons

UI elements I'd like to see in the game and not have to be forced to use addons. I know their are plenty of addons that do what I will ask for below but I prefer using as few addons as possible and many addons still seem to cause problems with the game so it's quite annoying. Built into the game we should at least have:

1- a minimap (just handy to have);
2- larger quest tracker (maybe 5 quests?);
3- Guild Member alerts (annoying only friend alerts is available and not guild, give us the option at least);
4- show auto-looted items in the chat window (very annoying turning on auto-loot to only find out now I can't see what I've looted without having to now open my bags);
5- auto-sheathe weapon after combat (seriously, why do we not auto-sheathe after combat?);
6- ability to compare a crafting item with equipped item (when crafting equippable items of course so we can see how the new item compares to the equipped);
7- Import UI ability (I like to change some keys around, I move the chat window a bit, as well as chat colours and addon settings and it is annoying doing it for every character individually).

That is all... for now lol. I know their are bigger issues to deal with but please consider these implementations at some point in the near future once bigger issues (I won't go into those in this thread and those have been talked about anyway) have been dealt with but remember that sometimes it's all the small things that are just as important.

    1. okay, not a bad idea.
    2. Not having an issue with quests yet, so can't comment.
    3. Okay.
    4. Yes please.
    5. Just press Z.
    6. Yes Please.
    7. Not an issue for me.

    Yes, I would be all for adding all of these! I'm glad that add-ons are around to lessen some of the pain, but a lot of those features should just be built in.

    Auto-Sheathing after combat would be weird. What if you where expecting more enemy's in a second? Best leave that the way it is.
    Ever seen The Walking Dead? If they sheathed their weapons after every zombie they would drastically increase their chances of dieing.

    What do you have against add-ons I wonder...

    They aren't going to waste time building these functions into the game when the playerbase can utilize them with addons. That's pretty much how mmos roll.
    Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

    Many people wont even install adons and just say screw this game becouse its missing basic features. I understand we can just install adons but not adding these basic functions wil hurt zenimax and us players in the end. Adons should cover inventive ideas and nice tools but in no way should you need them to make the game playable.

    Well the minimal UI was a design decision by Zenimax.

    If you want to expand on the UI, then that's what add-ons are for.

    I mean even the OP admits that most of these things he wants are already available via add-ons. So why not just download Minion and install a few. Literally take you a couple minutes.

    Dear "minimalistic UI is important for the immersion"-guys. You got what you asked for, a sucky UI. Now lay in the bed you made.

    I never had any add-on in other games but I find the add on management the provide to be very friendly. Now I just check for some updates if I feel something is missing, or grab the version that I prefer the most.

    Add-ons make me happy (:
    People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

    Uviryth is right. That is what people wanted and that is what they got. If you want extras addons are there and working fine.

    the problem I see with the suggestions is not everyone wants them so why have them made in the first place, I actually like the fact I can customize my ui to what I want with addons, instead of having it already decided for me.

    So for me, as little ui to begin with as possible, then I can tweak it.

    I like the basic UI. The only UI add-on that I've installed is the mini-map (which I like a lot). Having said that, I wouldn't be opposed to adding various UI options to the base game rather than relying on add-ons, as long as those are options and are turned off by default. The last thing I want to see in ESO is something like this: wowscrnshot110409205343.jpg

    I can help you get some addons that works very nicely, very rarely any game breaking bugs etc. If there are, I find and identify them, remove them, report them and the author fixes them within a couple of days,

    FIXED WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS!! :D

    If something is bugged in the UI that Zenimax provides, it will take weeks to get fixed. Why would anyone change that?

    Download "MINION", a supernice addon manager that auto updates your super nice addons for you

    That's a ridiculous example.
    First of all that's a terribly small screen.
    Second, there's two raid chats. Seriously? Why would anyone put the same channel on two different windows.
    Third, there's two addons for unit frames + decursive which could have easily been integrated into Grid. There's no way a hunter (dps) would need that much information.
    Fourth, two addons for buff bars. Why?
    Fifth, this is old - Wrath era. And hunter - the one class with the most abilities in the whole game. A lot of abilities have been removed. Traps have been consolidated. And so on. Not only from hunter but from other classes as well (for example there are no longer two types of soul stone so there is no need to have two slots). Mana potions and mana food - hunters haven't used mana in years.
    Sixth, on the bars there's every spell in the book - in TESO you don't have the option to bind and use even a tenth of what you see here.
    Seventh, this is pure example of lack of common sense and looks built specifically to clutter the screen - there's 4 foods on the bar. There's fun items on the bar (like the remote). Why would you need a bar showing long term buffs. There's even quest items on the bar! All professions on the bar!

    Having a few options to customize the UI does not mean designing a chaotic cluttered screen, tripling information.
