did you let him suffer ? or let him go ?

as i said thats the question

Manimarco let Molag Bal onto Nirn

he wanted to become the Lord of Deception

in short Manimarco is totally EVIL

i left him to eternal suffering

guess thats his kind of fun

what did you decide ?

Doesn't matter he is out later in his mythology anyway.

I did it both ways (2 characters). Either way you get basically dissed by somebody for the decision.

I let him go. It seemed a noble thing to do and I knew he would be out of there anyway, so screw it.

After the repair costs he gave me in the final fight...I let him suffer. Took me a few rounds to get him down...

I let him go hoping I could kill him again....needless to say I was disappointed.

He gets out either way anyway, so it might as well be you. But I am always surprised by which companion people picked to be killed (to give you the power to beat Molag Bal)

Actually everyone who suffered there freed after Molag Bal defeat didn't they?
I mean we can see others killed by our character and they are all imprisoned by Molag Bal... and break free after we defeat the Daedric Lord, right?

I let him go thinking I'd strong arm him in to being the sacrifice since he was one of the original 5.

p.s. I had to choose again and let him go. I should have let him suffer.

I let him out with the hopes of running into him again, I am fond of kicking his butt. Besides, when you defeat Molag Bal I'm pretty certain he would be set free anyway.

I let him out, since he gets out and becomes a god later in the lore anyhow.

I released him on both playthroughs. Hardly seems like the moral option though, considering that he'll just start killing people again.

Freed him, I was hoping the companions would share my line of thought: "Hey, he was one of the five companions too, we should sacrifice him instead of one of us!" But I was disappointed. :(

I deposited the oldest, most deteriorated worm sandwhich I could find around his nose, and tiptoed off giggling.
