Client freezes on update at exactly the same point in time

So my client freezes at the exact same point every time. It freezes around 58k mb left of updating, it says installing patch. I have over 360 GBs left of memory, and I don't have a virus protection program on this computer. Not running any proxies or anything. It just freezes at the same point everytime when I go to update.
Been doing this since the patch right before live so the live update. Ever since then its done it. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled. I never complained because I just downloaded it onto my desktop (this happens on my laptop, it has windows 8). So I am not sure what is going on and didn't find anything in the forums about this. So thought I'd post.
