Centered Camera Angle

I'm fairly new to the MMO style of playing but one thing I do love is the ability to use emotes that have my character doing various things such as playing instruments, dancing (badly) or other flat out goofy tasks. The camera angle though really sucks in this case. Can you create a centered camera angle that allows for balanced screenshots of characters? I've tried every angle I can with what is already present and even tried tricking the camera system by standing beside a wall and even then I'm still very limited.

For me it's wrong both vertically and horizontally - I would dearly love to be able to adjust the offset.

Trust me, you'll get used to it. At first it seems almost impossible but after a while, you don't notice. Also, the further you zoom out the less you notice.

Well, mister, now try to make some pretty screen of your character while zoomed out to max..
It's a pain to do any kind of "selfie" (god how I hate the word, but it's kinda accurate here). Best you can do is screen your friend, while in first person, with hidden UI. Because when you try to make a screen of your char, you end up zoomed out too much or having half character cut out

Funnily enough, since most people use widescreen monitors these days, centered characters would not look "balanced." Take a film class or two. Characters tend to be on one side of the frame because it makes the screen picture more dynamic.

Define "most people".

I'm using a 15.6" screen with 1366x768 resolution (aka usual 3yr old laptop), and my character is literally standing in the left corner when I try to look at her face, with anything bellow breasts cut out...

... and now even that one broke, so I'm writing this from a 9yr old laptop that I can use (with 2-9 fps at absolute minimum details) to painfully feed my horses and set up researches, because apparently a fan bearing breaking is worse than graphics card melting in laptops.. (1 minute of "cooling" overheats the heat sensor and shuts down system to protect it, not to mention it sounds like a buzz saw) and I have no money to buy a new rig, so I'm stuck waiting for a "new" fan from China that may or may not arrive intact in about 2 weeks (wonder if they send the right one)

I admit the camera drove me nuts at first.

Now I can't imagine playing it centered. This way seems more elegant, once I got used to it.

Still, a slider couldn't hurt for those who want it. But I think the current camera angle is an intrinsic part of the game design, so that may not be as straightforward as it seems to us as players.

Anyone whose monitor is less than 6 years old. As far as I know, they don't even sell 1:1.33 monitors anymore.
