Is that what bot bans look like

Last night I was running around in Windhelm and came across such scene: a khajit in rugs (yes, the starting ones from Wailing Prison) is standing in one of the small streets, suddenly a player approaches (I forgot the name of the toon), stands next to khajit guy and suddenly he collapses onto the ground and since my cursor is on him I get an option to raise him, but after a couple seconds the body disappears and that other player runs away.

It happened probably half an hour after the message that a GM is going to be banning bots, but the other player, who ran away was totally not him, I'm pretty sure the name was different.

Anyhoo, is that what banning of bots looks like or did I witness something else?

I can't answer that being new to the game myself, but I have witnessed first hand the bot problem.
I don't think I have ever seen so many bots in a mmo before. They are flying through the air, running across the land, and even digging underneath it, you hear a pick or axe in use, look around and see someones arm coming up from the ground and the node disappears. And I have lost count of how many times they have stolen the resource I was about to harvest.

I really hope that they give these bots a good spanking and ban them forever.

GMs will appear as bright blue stripey spectres like the one standing at the top of this picture:



Generally when they ban a bot, it just disappears, it doesn't normally die. So who knows.

This would all be humorous if we weren't now paying for this "experiment" Zenimax is running. Remember: they put off the console version 6 months so they can fix all this before charging them but they have no hesitation charging us full price, each month for this mess. It's just been getting worse since launch and each patch and server down time brings now change. I won't sub a second month if they still aren't dealing with this. There is a way to stop them and they need to focus on that and not making the console version the best it can be.

every mmo is like that, they will charge PC players for the game because though buggy the game is play able. The fact that they are attempting to add some fun in the bot department makes me chuckle. I don't get why people insist on playing and paying just to complain about having to pay.

My friend and I saw a bot repeatedly respawning and dying in place in a dungeon last night. It was pretty entertaining.

I saw a few doing that near the Mzithumz Wayshrine. They were getting stuck trying to climb the rocks between the Wayshrine and Mzithumz. After being stuck for a bit, they'd keel over and resurrect at the Wayshrine.

Made them easy to report at least.
