Max levels on Glyphs

I have to ask WHY there are max level restrictions on Glyphs? I can understand Min level so people don't put a level 50 enchant on a level 1 weapon, but a max level makes little sense. I have personally had the issue happen several times where I had out-level my enchanting skill/or didn't have the right runes, so I was forced to BUY an enchant from the vendors because I could not put an enchant from one of the lower tiers on my weapons/armour.

Min levels on enchants is a good thing, but Max level restrictions are just another little quality of life thing the game could do without.

I have always been a higher level than my enchantment level. However, I can make level 50 glyphs because I've put the points into the right crafting skills.

As for not having the right runes, we'll, go collect more....

Because they want to make things as painful and difficult as possible for us. That or they just sucked at coding when they added glyphs. Probably both.

There really isn't a logical reason why I shouldn't be able to put a level 35 glyph on a vet 8 item. It makes no sense why they need to be matched up.

Really? So how come your not complaining that they actually make you move about and do quests instead of jumping you to end game so that you only have 1 thing to complain about.

I actually have a lot of complaints. Yours is a silly question by the way. I'd write them down. but nobody wants to read a wall of text.

I'll say it again, why can't I put a vet 2 glyph on vet 6 armor? Or level 15 glyph on level 25 armor if you want to stay low level.

I also think it's dumb that you can't enchant bound armor whether it be quest or something you bought and equipped. Bad design is bad design.

Enchant in what way, you can swap the glyph on a piece of armour/weapon/jewellery to what you what.

Not if it's a bound piece of armor and the item and glyph rank must match. V1 for v1. It's a very constrictive system.

If you equip a bind on equip piece of armor, you can never enchant it.

Then make sure its done first. Though I've found that V1 enchant items are hard to find.

I don't mind the level restrictions on enchants. What annoys me is I make a +61 max stam armor glyph and enchant a piece of armor (shoulder) with it...When I look at the preview it says +14 max stam. Really? Thinking this was just a "display" bug, I applied it. +61 goes down to +14 on a shoulder item?

Yep, I think there are 2 or 3 kind of armor, and the stats granted are different depending on which item is enchanted.

Today, still wanted by the developers she survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a bot problem, if no one else can bite you, and if you can find her....maybe you can hire The SQUISHY."

Not if it is a quest reward.

80% of the jewellery items that I have found have been from quests. This is greater to an even more significant degree if you only include green/blue level jewellery pieces.

Yet out of 3 such items I received yesterday, not one could be re-enchanted.

That is annoying, especially since 18 out of the 34 glyphs that can be created are for Jewellery. To make use of these items in on-or-near level equipment items is, in my experience, nigh on impossible.
