I can't get this ultimate to regen any additional ultimate. I've tried to test it out on a number of occations where I have dropped it on dense clusters of enemies - easily sufficient to reach the 6 AoE cap, but I never see any ultimate return.
The ultimate returned charges the ultimate for about 6%, which I assume is the return for the ordinary AoE damage, but if I hit 6 enemies, I should get 60+ ultimate back. 60 out of 250 is definately more than a 6% recharge.
Can anyone get this to work or am I misunderstanding the mechanics?

I just noticed this myself. Used it a few times against a large enemy zerg in Cyrodiil. Hit more than 10 players each time (combat log confirmed) but had 0 ultimate after the use...0
