Does this passive work only with Pet Summons or anything slotted from Daedric Summoning?

It works as long as you have bound amour, a summon including the ult, I have not tested it further because the charter sheet dose not also graphically update @jones52j‌

It's a waste of skill points anyways.

Health regen as a stat sucks really bad. even softcapping it at something like 85+ it's 85 health every 2 seconds and the average veteran mob is hitting you for 500+ and some mobs even hit you for 1k+.

You won't notice the difference at all. What you are likely noticing is a placebo effect.
