PvErs in PvP

I love them, especially the lower level ones.

Does it make me a bad person because I will break stealth to let them know I am about to kill them? Does it make me a bad person to like watching them panic, and then think these loving words from our friend Freddy Krueger: "why are you screaming? I haven't even cut you yet"?

Does it make me a bad person when I enjoy feeling their blood on my fur?

It does not make you a bad person. You are already made this way. Now if you lay down on my couch we can talk about your childhood and how you became who you are... ;)

I'm sure that's fun for a while, but in the long run, skill mattering more than gear or levels makes a better PvP experience.

Long term, the way it is now where levels give you an "I win" button, just results in a PvP graveyard.

Nah. Just like it doesn't make me a bad person when me and my 40 friends Zerg you into the ground, and then I lag behind to dance on your corpse. Because that is how we roll.

No one in Cyrodill is a complete PVEr. I Will certainly not let you get that Skyshard in the middle of my faction zone even if you are lvl10.

And that is why we are bad people. Because it is only fun because after you do it, you know somewhere there is some fella ranging and throwing things at the screen yelling, 'didnt he see me wave!! I was just questing!!! I waved and he killed me!!!!!!!!'

Yes!!!! And then they cry how they need a separate instance so they can do the quests in peace...not caring they are in the middle of a war.

If you are in Cyrodill, you have fully accepted that you can be attacked at any moment by members of the opposing factions. If anything, the lower level characters that get boosted to 50 are better off than higher level (sub VR) characters that get boosted.

As a PvEer in PvP, about half the time I am loving getting ambushed by a stealth group because it means I have a much, much shorter ride to where I want to go (usually to reinforce a keep). I usually just stand there and wonder why it is taking them so long to kill me when I am doing nothing to defend myself. I almost never have any repair cost and when I do it is minimal. So thanks! It's a win-win really.

Careful what stalks the stalkers. >:)

It's much more enjoyable sending a camper back to his keep, especially if they're neck deep in your territory. The low levels make excellent bait, and having them survive is just bonus salt in the wounds.

It almost feels justified... and when that combat icon pops up over a quest area as an imperial--

im a "PvEr" as you call it, had someone jump me in pvp...sadly he did not expect me to be good at my class and i killed him in a matter of seconds. I then went on to kill the other three people he was with then grab the skyshard and continue on. He ended up sending me a msg threatening me which was funny considering he started the fight.....i just ended it. I don't mind being jumps, i dont mind the PVP loving crowed, But when you jump someone and they kick you back to a respawn don't go on a rampage lol.

How exactly did he contact you considering that you are in other factions?

Is that even possible outside guild chat?

The lame wolf must resort to the easiest of prey in order to get by. Deadlier prey is too much of a risk for such a wolf.

You're just not an alpha wolf. That's okay though, go for the easy prey if that's what you need to do to get by.

Really though, it's always funny to see "real PvPers" in games bragging about killing PvErs and roleplayers. It's like a teenager going to a Kindergarten sandbox and punching the children there, then bragging later how they beat someone up.

This, Cyrodil is designed for PvP lots of other areas for PvE.
If you are smart you wait with PvE in cyrodil until you are done with the veteran content, no real reason to do it earlier, should also be plenty of other veterans who is done with PvE content to group with.
That is unless you like the extra danger.

In fact one idea would be to put more of the good farming areas inside Cyrodil.
So fun running into farming bots where.
Yes the bots would probably operate well inside the faction area, however player can make rules of engagements who let bot hunters operate safely as long as they don't do other pvp while hunting bots.

LOL, some people had run into other factions doing public dungeons in Cyrodil.

Dear Gods people, this was supposed to be an amusing thread.

Do I (or others) only go after lowbies? No.
Do I (or others) fight people our level or higher? Yes.
Do I (or others) think killing someone in pvp, no matter the level, okay? Yes.

As a pure heals/spell DPS templar I laugh when I get ambushed by someone higher lvl than me and they can't get through my heals as my burns dot them down. Don't underestimate every 'PVE'er' some of us don't go down like chumps.

No it doesn't. I have not participated PVP yet, but I do enter Cyrodiil in order to obtain Skyshards and Lorebooks. Thus far I have not been flayed alive by hordes of enemy players or lone wolves, but I know one day it will happen. I accepted the risk when I entered Cyrodiil, and as inconvenient as it will be to have to respawn and return to the location if I did not get the Skyshard or Lorebook, you PVPers are doing exactly what you find enjoyable - killing players.

I might look stupid to other players in my alliance walking around in a permanent crouch, but I'd like to avoid being jumped by an army of stealthed Zergs. If it means my Argonian character ends up with chronic back pain, it sure beats death. I just hope nobody has magelight or something to that effect activated when I sneak on by.
