Did they drop rate of many things get reduced?

So, along with motifs being a gift from the divines now, it seems many things have become rare drops, such as common items from chests and what not. I am having trouble finding things in general that I could easily find during launch.

I am not sure, but I am just curious what things you are finding less? Just for my own curiousity. I am pretty sure motifs are less, because I used to find a lot of them and haven't in a couple weeks.

Racial crafting ingredients and recipes and things of that nature.

The problem with random is..... well its random.

For me, I was sure I was getting less loot and less from refining materials since the patch, then I got three 'yellow' items in a row.

But motifs and recipes are harder to find.

Content in containers have been "reduced" because there is more of a chance of finding nothing but air in most containers.

I believe recipes drop rate was also reduced. This was mentioned in recent patch notes.
I have been a little disappointed with loot found in buildings and houses and the like.
A lot of furniture is empty or opened (already empty) and a lot of the "good stuff' seems harder to get or has been replaced by lockpicks which I am now throwing stacks of away.

Yeah, container drop rates have already been nerfed. And I think there's still a second, separate nerf to the drop rates for motif books and recipes coming with the big Craglorn patch, which is hardly necessary now that so few things drop from containers overall anyway. Most are empty, even if you haven't logged in in days and are on with your first character. It's not just a nerf that affects continual container farming.
