Changing item appearance

It would be nice if devs would add a feature to change the appearance of an item to make it look like an item of your choice (of the same type of course). I found a unique looking weapon and I would like to make my future weapon look the same I would pay around 5k gold for this :). Does anyone else would like to be able to change item appearance?

I'm keeping some fairly crappy armour in my bank in the hope that we get purely cosmetic slots like LoTRO in future. It's a look I like but offers as much protection/buffage as toilet paper.

It's a nice thought... further down the line but 5k, screw that lol.

I think you have not been on the internet long enough until you have been rick-rolled.

Its an planned future feature, the game have something like it already, imperials can change gear into looking imperial here you will use the other gear as template.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Imperial items and crafting styles in general look pretty bad imo but there are a few unique items which look good.

this is really a needed feature... even more since Dropped set at end game end up being a LOT better than crafted set... in the end everybody will go with similar lookout based on the skin of the few end game set (actualy one disturbing thing is that ther are only 2 set per armor type as PvE drop for VR 10... while there are tons of set avaible during leveling :/ )

what is the meaning of having all those rare motif and the ability to craft in every style you learn while in the end you'r bound to the skin the item you want drop with?
