I am sure this may be posted somewhere but I don't want to search and im sure everyone has seen this but today was the first ive seen this.

Wabbajack all of a sudden is getting very popular. I have been there since the beginning.

Im in Ebonheart pact, we have a scroll at Allessia. We are defending the keep. Outer wall is down. We are in the inner keep getting ready to defend. Go up to the top on the outer wall and we find....two Dominion troops in the inner keep? Two Vet 10's killing us. How did they get in? Oh I know....

They have friends in the Ebonheart pact with DK's using there chain ability to pull them INTO the castle to try and get to the scroll. The enemy wasn't even pushing us hard, just keeping us occupied.

Well lucky for us this didn't work....but as we were here defending the keep, AD went to another keep of ours, never took the keep but used the same tactic to get in, get the scroll, hop over walls to get out and run home.

I defend this game a lot but this was honestly the first time I have been appalled by PvP. This is like breaking the spirit of the game and im sure its not illegal or against any terms of service, but its just bad form and takes away from the fun.

I do not even know how Zenimax would be able to even stop such an act but all i have to say is to those who are doing this...your going to ruin the game. Not bugs, not OP Darknights or Sorcs....you because classes can be balanced and tweaked over time. Behavior like this cannot.

Yes... and DK's supposedly can just use their leap skill to jump over walls without any help...
    Indeed it is so...

Yeah, one of the problems is that currently DK's, werewolves and nightblades can jump walls using their teleport/leap style charges. Granted, actually pulling this off is quite difficult.

And you're right dude, traitors suck, route them out and expose them.

easy cure would be to put 4 guards per upper entrance as well as lower entrances to prevent this without a brutal fight.
another is to add pair of "scout" type guard which patrol the walls and when they see a player all the guards on that section of the wall and below come storming up to deal with them
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

I like the scout idea. Lets be real honest here and I'm sure we can ALL agree that nobody should be in the keep unless the walls are down yes?

OK simple fix with a twist on the scouts.

Put scouts in the keeps that will ONLY attack an enemy when the wall is up with an instakill shot. If the outer wall goes down, then the outer keep scouts despawn.

Same thing with inner keep, If an enemy is in the keep and the inner wall isn't down... you get the picture.

This by itself shouldn't be too hard and will prevent any other glitches, jumps or pulls.

Also if you put some limitations on the chain (y axis) this will prevent keep owners from exploiting this at all.

Yup, I mentioned this on another thread. Im EP with you on Wabbajack and i have left the inner keep that was not being attacked with all outer walls up and repaired and greeted by a DC guild in the courtyard.
if Zos doesnt fix this(make it so you cannot enter a keep unless a wall has come down/put up a mile high invisible wall that drops once the walls are breached...something!!)..Players are gonna start ignoring regular tactics and simply roll a toon on another account who is DK to pull them up.
Patch notes say that youre not going to be able to roll multiple characters on the same campaign who are from different alliances(you'll have to PAY for that cheating tactic and buy another account) which tells me ZOS knows about it..and they wont do anything about it as long as it makes them money.

    Just asking, not flaming,

But isn't it a feature, having a possibility to get on the walls, or inside the keep, during keep siege for the attacking faction?

    In War AoR
All mdps could bypass the postern
You could jump on the walls by flying from your keep to the other keep.
Group could grab an Ogre rat to throw peeps from their group/warband on the walls.

It does add some flavor to keep siege/defence as long as you can't take a keep without having both walls down of course.

X-realming is ugly and nearly impossible to root out. Also for a lot of players 30$ a month is nothing, so ...

Let's wait till the multi-boxers are going to show up in Cyrodiil. Take my word that you'll be more than happy that ZOS has put a cap on aoe.

NO it's not a feature lol. It's not a feature to exploit a game mechanic to benefit your game play. ZOS specifically patched ppls ability to roll various factioned toons on the same campaign..Whats your theory as to why they did that?

The fact that they made it so you now have to buy an extra account in order to get a different faction character into your mains campaign is just adding insult to injury.

To me it says loud and clear: "Now we don't want you to do this..but if you really REALLY want to use a different character to open the back door of keeps for your buddies from another faction..you'll have to pay for it."

    It's insulting.
  • popatiberiuoneb18_ESO
Crossrealm, multiboxing, abusing glythches and so on should be all punishable offenses. They ruin the fun for the majority of the player base and hurt the income of ZOS in the long run. Ofcourse for such measures they would need to actualy assign people on dealing with it, people that need to be paied :)

Having multiple realms on same account shouldnt be a problem if only they would put in a 30-60 minutes delay between logging off from a realm and logging on into another realm or even better, limit entering cyrodiil for the same amount of time with different factions but let them log into the game and play their pve, after all its exactly the same content in a different order.

Just a FYI...You know reflect skills work the other way around with DKs pull right?... Maybe the DKs were trying to pull them down but the enemy had a reflect skill activated.

No, we saw it happen. Because there are no name tags it was and the traitors moved fast off the walls while we were being attacked by the buddies he helped pull up we couldn't get names.

I have no problem if a NB or Templar can jump or teleport up a wall to an enemy nor do i have a problem with a DK's ability to pull enemies up on the wall to them. Im fine with that, but when the DK pulls the enemy up to assist them in taking a keep? Being underhanded like that? That breaks the literal spirit of the game.

So that's how they got the scrolls? Desperation? EP has been holding Arius for what seems like days from mass AD and DC zerg, and finally this is what it takes? Thank you, truly, for revealing your own weakness and our supreme never ending power.

By the way we sill defended the scroll. There plan failed. they had knocked down the eastern and western postern walls on the inner keep and we held them as they tried to attack from both sides. They could have rushed us and probably killed us but they didnt. We thinned the numbers and we rushed. They tried to cheat and failed.
