I'll Return To TESO When...

annarr1117nub18_ESO
I'll return to TESO whenever I get "able" to load enough money onto my Paypal MasterCard prepaid debit card folks, seems like ZOS cares "nothing" about the struggling less fortunate individuals such as myself, sometimes I wish that I could "trade" in my depressing life with the life of a highly successful young adult male billionaire somehow, the lack of finances "ain't" no joke in this hard world people!

When I wake up in the morning and turn on my computer. Oh wait, Im ingame now!

In all seriousness. If you are really strapped for cash then I wouldn't bother. Look after yourself first as ESO wont feed you. I'm in a bad situation due to ill health (I have MS) but luckily my wife is working.

I do feel your pain but I expect this thread will be locked very soon.

Are you whining because you have to pay $15 a month for ESO? Because if it was F2P, you'd be paying a whole lot more, hon, or you'd be blocked out from all the most critical parts of the game.

News Flash: ZOS cares about you exactly as much as you care about them: You apparently feel they should hand everything to you for free, without pay walls, or profit for them, and who the heck cares what happens to them. Are you 12 years old? Because you sound it. You hardly need to be anything even remotely approaching a billionaire (or a millionaire) to pay $15 a month for a game. But you do need to grow up and get a job.

I'm sorry, but if loading in $15 is such a hardship, maybe you should stop playing games altogether and get a job...at least one that will pay you $15/month.

$15 a month is actually not that much to pay for the amount of entertainment time you get out of the game. If you go watch a movie during the evening time it will cost around $11-$21 depending on the movie and theater you go to, and if you want drinks and a snack that is going to be around another $5-$15. if we go the low end you get 2-2 1/2 hours of entertainment for $16. that is roughly $8/hour for entertainment.

If you play ESO 15 hours a month you are getting your entertainment at $1/hour that is 8 times cheaper than seeing a movie. That is also based on the fact you only play 15 hours a month and I am sure most of us put more than that in a month. I have never understood why people have such a hard time with game subscriptions, but yet will go out to a movie every weekend without saying one word about it.

Annarr? What's up? Took a look at your early posts and you come across pretty positive about the game and future?

Something must have changed your mind

I know what changed his mind: Parents won't pay for his sub anymore or his credit card is maxed. ;) Not trolling or anything, but this post is absurd. What is Zeni supposed to do, exactly? Let TC play for free? I don't get it. And to insinuate that you have to be a billionaire to play this game is beyond laughable. "depressing life". Ok. lol.

I don't get it. With the implied air-quotes in the OP's post, I can't figure out if this is a genuine concern, or if it's a moderately successful trolling attempt. Or perhaps it's an inside joke that I don't understand.

Anyway, just in case it's a genuine concern:
Bummer that you can't afford the game. I am positive that the $15 subscription fee is not intended to display a "lack of caring" on the part of ZOS. It's most likely there to help pay the wages for developers, QA, CS, Forum moderation, internal bills (such as power and server maintenance), executive management, etc. And most likely a portion of it is going towards paying the salaries of individuals working on bug fixes and customer service responses. Possibly even future development of additional content or expansions.

Hopefully things look brighter for you in the future. Perhaps, if I ever think about this thread again, I'll offer to toss some money on your paypal account and cover a month of subscription time for you.
The moment you call someone stupid, or try to display your opinion as "fact", you lose all credibility.

Oh God, I hope for your own sake you are trolling here. Buddy, can I shine a light on you here, please? This is a GAME. Its an online game that is also a business. what part of this do you not comprehend? The creators of this MMO are not going to give it up for free, you know. Every MMO gets its money one way or another, and honestly if this MMO can sort out the bot and gold-spammer issues, and fix some of the other gameplay issues and make this game feel more like as example, Skyrim, $15 monthly does not seen such a bad deal to me. That's £8ish in my terms, which is actually not so bad. Even if it never feels like Skyrim or previous ES titles it will still be worth the sub, even if the bot and gold spammer issue does not go away, it will still be worth the sub...hell, even if this never goes to console and they end up scrapping that plan it will still be worth the sub.

Anyway if you truly cant afford it, why not just go quietly like any normal sane and respectable person would, instead of making a rage quit thread about it?

In your last "I can't afford it" thread I suggested you save $4 a week. I still suggest this.

I'm lower-middle class myself. I hear your complaints, and I feel no sympathy. If you want leisurely time on a game, adapt and overcome -- or fall prey to social Darwinism.

take up a life of crime to fund your gaming.. that the best idea.. then when you end up a drug baron you can blame zos for it in court. they forced you to ship tons of coke in from columbia to sell just to pay their sub otherwise you wouldn't be able to "pwn some noobs in pvp "

i often starve my kid just to pay the sub .. priorities and all that eh ;)

15 bucks can be a lot of money for someone who is unemployed, I understand this. But there are ways and options how you can make a few hundred bucks legally in the internet.

These jobs wont be fun, they might not reward you more than 3-4 bucks an hour but they can help you if you want to play an MMO and cant afford the money.

That said, having a job in RL is always the better option - maybe ask in the local grocery store if you can help, do the dishes in a cafeteria or just stop smoking, drinking if you do it? In the end ESO is a hobby and hobby´s cost money, some more some less.

And by the way, nobody must be a millionaire to play MMO´s ;) I spend more money in the club at night than in a half year at ESO :D

Good luck with your situation OP.

That is the sad reality, if you cannot afford to play then you should not be playing and none some of us don't mean that in a mean way.

On that note, ZOS are not responsible for you managing your finances either but I will help here, 30 days divided by $15 (15.00/30=0.50) is equal to 50 cent a day, you need to figure out how to do this yourself. I would also not bother with those pre-pay credit cards for something you will, hopefully, be paying for often. Get time cards, you can buy them whenever and hold on to them and use them whenever.

A job paying minimum wage will only take you 2-2 1/2 hours of work a month 2 pay your sub. I don't know your situation, but my wife and I have a lot coming out every month, plus a 2 year old and I can still afford to pay this and a sub for her MMO. We are very far from being billionaires, btw. Budgets and a few hours ovettime are a wonderous thing.
