%t command / text command to call out your target's name
Is that possible to do? Since you don't really "target" in this game. It would be nice though!

there is a targeting system that will create a frame around the nearest enemy unit (default key Tab).
Not sure if they can grab the name though, as last I heard the changes they made to the addon API were pretty drastic concerning status information on yourself and targets.
I don't believe the game has a way to create in-game macros, so I assume you are using a keyboard macro setup. In that case, maybe create profiles for certain enemies, and within them a few macros for each type.
So you could have daedric macros, one of which calls out the daedric archer, other the daedric warrior, and the other the daedric mage.
I use a BlackWidow Ultimate and can on the fly switch the profiles like I said in a few seconds within the game. I only use 3 (basic archer, warrior, or mage call) and then type when I want the tank to pick up something else (I'm a healer).
I wasn't actually intending to use it for combat situations per se, but more for roleplay text based emotes, i.e /emote winks at %t and slaps them on the rear.
Yep, that's what lotro has, and it's very useful for personalized emotes without typing in names--just select, hit the alias, and you're "shaking your fist at "whoever" or "Asks whoever to follow". So, I'd love it, just not sure if the targeting mechanic here is up to it unless we're able to click-target things when not in combat.
