This is the first time I've ever received a message saying "you've been placed in the queue to log in" before.

My approximate wait time is 1 second... I guess they're rounding up to the nearest minute. Heh.

Same thing I put in another thread about this

"Nice huh. They take our money, patch the game and we can't play...............again. Anyone that still has access to the game is a subscriber now unless they bought within the last 30 days as all of the preorder people are sub now and at least 25% or more of them are gone. So why a wait time? "

Too many people trying to log in at the same time. Nothing new.

I've just never seen it before in ESO. I'm not pissed about it like Red is, just thought it was funny.

Im sure it is just propaganda! Everyone knows 99 percent of people playing quit i stead of subbing! So this is there attempt to make you think people are playing!

Was a lot during beta, however then it was far more active and people was logged off because of bugs. You did not try to log on at an popular time like just after game of thrones was finished, typical time then loads of players started the game :)
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I know a lot of people who were waiting on the console now doing the pc in the interum, so it is actually possible more people are signing in

Or perhaps they finally implemented an info screen instead of players getting 'stuck' on a seemingly never-ending log-in screen.

Business models have zero effect on whether there are log-in queues. Think first maybe?

You must have missed how some games work. FTP players are being queued while paid subscribers bypass the line, SWTOR does this and others as well. Research before you assume maybe?

I havent missed it at all.

Mind you, I have never had to queue to get into SWTOR either, not when I subbed, nor when I was preferred, nor when I played for free.

My point that you missed, is all game launchers have a max capacity/limited amount of log-in servers. If you're having to queue, that's potentially a good sign.
